    good afternoon everyone!

i had teeth taken out so didnt eat much thur or fri - mada smoothie from some banan, strawberries, blueberries, ice, and some ff nat yog so i guess this is free?

had some proper food last nite - some dominoes pizza, garlic bread & wedges :( washed down with a few glasses of west coast cooler

nearly back on board 2day - just doin my tesco shopping online, and wondered about the flour some of you use for the pizza base? is it like wheaten bread flour or soda bread flour? and can this be used as a he on ee?

also i need some suggestions for sweet & savoury uses for quark - its still in the fridge & i havent a clue what to do with it lol!!

cant remember who posted the recipe but im tryin the syn free madras 2nite - chicken is marinading in the fridge so cant wait to see & taste it all later! if i have time il try the bhajis too!

congrats screamer & those who lost or sts & keep goin for thos like myself who have blow outs!!

I used the Tesco w/m crusty bread mix as thats been given the ok by SW to be used as a HEx.

Sweet quark uses = lemon curd, nutella, white choc options, honey and stem ginger (i cant wait to try this one!!)

Savoury - onion and garlic, onion and chive, cheese and onion - i am sure there are more!
I peel butternut squash. Cut into cubes put in a pan with tomatoes, onions, some chopped raw bacon & fresh basil. Drizzle with a little olive oli (b option) & roast slowly. Its absoloutly gorgous :)

Its my 8th day of keeping those pesky faries at bay, I reallly feel the EE plan is helping me loads. Not sure if its slowed the weight loss down though.

I love butternut squash roasted with a drizzle of honey. Mmmmmmmmmmmm
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

Since we are all being big n brave and declaring our weight I will confess to my *mumble mumble* being a starting weight of 19st 9lbs (although I was heavier a couple of years ago -and have a photo to prove it -a size 32:eek:) and Im now 15st 7.5lb (can't believe I have said that out loud on here :rotfl:) -my goal is 10st-ish -BUT if when I get closer Im happier a little heavier then I will stop -but I know that I need to get into somewhere within my healthy weight range/BMI or I will do the old ..."well 1lb more won't matter" and be back where I started in no time :o
I haven't given myself a dead line -but Im subscribed to SW online up until the 18th January 2011 -and then I will extend again if I need to..... We WILL get there.....and every ounce off is one step closer :j
My mum uses LO LO cheese but I can't get it out here... its cathederal light or go without (watch them discontinue it out here :rotfl:)
Dizzy -I used to be able to live on home made bread -toasted or as sanwiches too -silly thing is before I had my neurosurgery I always had bad headaches -so I never noticed the difference.. since I had my op they are much less, which is what made me realise that some of them were down to bread (its the yeast in my case)....I even get the headaches when Im baking it too
I really don't get cravings anymore either -for anything, now when I ate bread oohhh it was dangerous -:rotfl:
ooohh I don't half rattle -will get off -think I might go and make a start on fettling our bedroom anything I have that is too big or shapeless is going :D... I will box it up and pass it on...
    have a good one all...

A couple of months ago i would never EVER have declared my weight! But i never want to go there again so contantly talking about it anchors it into my brain! Before i went on the pill i weighed 15 and a half stone and then after 2 years weighed in at 19 stone 6 lbs then i lost some weight (on alli - bah!) and got down to 16 stone and then i started working in an office and 3 and a half years later ballooned to 21stone! That isn't accurate either but thats what my home scales went up to so i could have been more!!!

I am tall and have a naturally big bone structure so my first big aim is 12st 7lbs and i'm gonna see how i feel! I'd like to be size 12 :) I'm just into size 20s which means i'm the same size i was when i was at college.
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

    Afternoon all

Can I join you please? :o I have done SW off and on for few years but I'm back to square one now and need to get my butt in gear and lose weight. I've had an emotional month or so and comfort ate lots so now I feel ready to get back into it and stick to plan.

A bit about me - I'm 28, vegetarian (so only do green days), I'm a youth worker so have a very hectic job which doesn't always help the diet! I have a gym membership which, when I use it I go 3 times per week, but I've not been for 3 weeks due to holiday and stuff. I'm going tomorrow after work though. I will be doing SW myself as can't afford class.

MrsMacwber - I'm in awe of your weight loss, 4st in 16 weeks!! Thats amazing :T My start weight is similar to yours. How have you done it? Have you stuck to SW 100%? Hope you don't mind me asking questions.

I'm batch cooking some SW friendly meals at the moment (I'm normally over on the OS board!). I'm making syn free celery soup and syn free veggie tomatoey sauce for chilli/pasta etc. I also intend on making a fritta and lentil pie which I will take for lunch this week, along with salad.

    Meals so far today :

B - eggs fried in fry light, 1 slice HM wholemeal bread (HEB)
L - pasta bake (made using tomato Pasta & Sauce, chopped onions, garlic, pepper and sweetcorn. topped with HEA allowance of cheese)
    D -
    Snacks -
    Drinks - water, SF squash

Ok confession over, I'm back to my good ways today, the fairies have been locked out!

Can I ask, are the batchelors pasta and sauce packets still free?

Thanks Vixie - I have been on the SW thread before, last year.

    Lentil Pie recipe

1 mug of washed red lentils
    1tspn marg (optional)
    2 tspn lemon juice
    1 egg
    1 onion chopped
    1-2 garlic cloves chopped
sprinkle of herbs (mixed, oregano, basil etc)
    1 bay leaf
    1 shredded wheat
    56g cheese

Cook lentils and bay leaf in pan of cold water until soft. Take out bay leaf.
Fry onion, garlic in frylight, add herbs and crumbled up Shredded Wheat
Add lentils to onion mix, and stir well, add optional marg at this point. Season
Place in oven proof dish, top with cheese and cook for 25-30mins in oven, around 200C.

I find this makes around 5 portions. It's 2.5 syns per portion. Or if you eat it all in one day it's free (except the marg) but it's your HEB, and 2 HEA's! I eat it cold as a snack, or hot for Sunday dinner topped with gravy. It freezes well too.

    Frittata

    frylight
chopped veg - anything your have left over - I like to use spring onions, peppers, peas etc
    Chopped chilli pepper
    6 new potatoes
    3 eggs

Cook new potatoes, and when ready chop up
Fry veg and potatoes in frylight til soft in frying pan
Beat eggs, add seasoning. Pour eggs over veg mix in frying pan making sure it is evenly distributed.
Cook for 4-5mins til bottom has set
Place under medium grill for 5 mins til top has cooked.
Serve with salad or whatever you fancy.

This is syn free but you can add whatever you want to it to make it to your taste. I just chuck in leftovers normally! You can add cheese if you want but it would be synned or a HEA. It keeps for 2 days or so in fridge so is handy for work lunches.
