No these are practically a soft drink

:D My fave cocktail ever love em!

They're practically all ice - so classed as drinking water. 2 litres per day suddenly sounds more manageable!

Sadly, the bar we were in for most of the night didn't do them so I had hideous pinky/sweet/sugary confections. Thankfully we moved on and went to the place that does my favourite - English Mojito - with hints of elderflower.

Walked to mums with son again today, flipping hot it was too. Went with mum to visit bruv & new partner, guess who were visiting at the same time? Damn those fairies . My son was offered a caramel wafer biscuit but said he didn't want it so my bruv put it on his leg. Son refused to eat it so it jumped into my mouth [well couldn't waste it could I?] :o That and the 2 toffees at my mums [damn fairies followed us back] not a good day.

    Food today:

    B - weetabix milk [a] coffee

L - never have any when out :o don't feel the need

T - 2 quorn sausages, sw cheesy [a] chips, oil spray [2], 2 big mushrooms, handful cherry toms, beans, wm roll , s/cream [1]

Snacks - mint [.5], caramel wafer [6.5], toffees [4], pineapple, melon, muller for later

    Syns - 14

Must eat more regular at weekends :o

    Helloooo everyone!!!

Gosh today has been crazy!! Woke up at 7, ate brekkie, did a tae bo session, went asda and got back by half 9! Then had brunch, then went shopping and cinema with bro and sis. Got back at about half 5 to cook dinner!!

    Today's food :) - Red

B - banana and cup of tea (milk from 1/2 hea)

Brunch - 2 egg omelette and 4 rashers of bacon.

Cinema - packet of velvet crunch (4) bag of milky way magic stars (tiny bag = 3.5)

    D - PIZZA!!!!

    2dqqzh4.jpg

(hopefully pic nowhere near as big as i originally posted!!)

Made using 75g of Tesco w/m crusty bread mix (113g base - yes i weighed it!) 2x HEB

    42g + 21g reduced fat cheddar HEA 1 + 1/2

    Syn free beef meatballs
    Ham
    Mushrooms
    onions
    green pepper
    BBQ sauce 2tbsp = 2syns
    1/2 sausage = 1.5syns
    30g of chorizo = 3syns

Ok, so the pizza totals in @ 6.5 syns and all my healthy extras BUT i have to say it was SOOOOO WORTH IT!!! I only plan to have this once a month at most (as bread does NOT agree with me atm)

I had this with some chicken wings - nom nom
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

    Hey everyone,

Can I join in with this wonderful thread? I did post a few months ago, but since then I picked up an injury and I've been on crutches for 6 weeks! Suffice to say, the plan went out of the window as I couldn't cook for myself, so I rejoined SW 2 weeks ago.

I was made redundant last month and also healing from the injury, so I've been doing a lot of sitting around. I need to get my eating habits in gear and follow the plan!

Here is what I had today

    B - 28g Shreddies (b) milk (a) Banana

Oh and I would usually have 3 meals a day, but got carried away buying stuff for the house and getting food shopping.

    L/D - Chicken + veg stir-fry fry lite (2)

Snacks - 2 coconut crunch biscuits (5) Strawberries, blueberries, scoop of ice cream (2) Tea (3)

    Total syns - 12.

I live in Felixstowe & they have a sausage shop in Trimley that does syn free sausages - not too much of a drive & you could pop into the farm shop for some lovely veg!
What group did you join? What day do you weigh in?

Hello, I weigh in on a Tuesday at the Highfield Approach group (near Norwich Road). I miss my old group where the consultant was lovely but needed one nearer and on a Tuesday and although the consultant at this one is nowhere near as nice, her school ma'am approach is egging me on!

Thank you for the news about the shop in Trimley, sounds good and after checking the Joe's sausages website, think it will be cheaper too. Thinking about it, there is a sausage shop in the Walk in Ipswich, maybe I should see if they do syn-free ones.

Where do you weigh in by the way? Bought last month's magzine and the front cover girl was from Felixstowe. Not you is it?

The sausages from that place on the walk are lovely - they make them just over the road from my Granny's at Maidenhall Green - If they're syn-free I'll be moving down there I think!
  • Hi,

I'm at a healthy weight for my BMI but I recently put on a bit of weight due to some tablets and to be honest i didn't have a very healthy diet. I've been following the slimming world diet on my own as it seems an easy way to keep track of what i'm eating. I can;t join online or a class though as I don't have enough weight to lose and its really more about being healthy and maintaining my weight.

One of my friends goes to the classes and she's been giving me the online password so I can check my syns. Shes changed jobs and shes stoppoing goes to the classes as she hit her target weight a few months ago. Would anyone mind emailing me the password so I can continue to check my sins?
