about the sizes (one top from Asda and one from Laura Ashley) I swear years ago someone (me) with a 36D bosom could NOT wear size 10. My knockers were 32A when I used to wear size 10 before. Not wishing to put anyone, including me, down but I think the sizes are a bit bigger than they used to be.

    This is so true.
Recently I bought 4x dresses in the FC sale. All in size 10. 2 were so big they had to go back. One was perfect the other "slightly" big. so 2 went straight back. A couple of weeks later I bought a maxi dress in the Banana republic sale, it was the only one left soI did I hopeful try- perfect fit, size 6. Now I am definately not a size 6!!! I dont think I ever could be my bones are too big?? But it shoes how sizes are over generous as I might have been a 10 ( I bought a couple of other things in 10, playsuit and a dress from River isdland and Oasis) and they are both fine- not too big!

    They vary hugely :o

Now you scale addicts - GET OFF THOSE SCALES!!!!!! No wonder the fairies visit, they can see you are weak when you keep hopping on the scales. Wait until WI day, as you are told to do!!!

I just bought some Kohinoor "India on a Platter" Cholle Masala
    .

Can I be forgiven, and excluded from the big telling off just at the moment:A in view of my.....ahem....little/big problem  I feel the need to weigh after bathroom visits :rotfl: but I cant promise I wont ever ever take a sneaky peak ever again in the future :o

Also what is the Cholle masala ? is it veggie or meat...Ive never actually heard of it :)

Lynz - ouch re the hand. You really don't have much luck :(. I thought an egg fried in oil was listed in the book at 1 syn or so?
    Screamer - love the ring
mgsnomey - well done, isn't that two weeks in a row you have had big losses?

I was just reading about the '30 day shred' dvd that others on MSE are raving about and now I am tempted :o. I have absolutely no sense of rythym, and I can't co-ordinate my arms and legs. I do have the Janice Battersby one which works well but is getting tedious. Has anyone tried it?

The fairy induced hangover has meant I have been very good today, and I have stuck to my plan.

At the risk of sounding anymore STOOPID, what on earth is the '30 day shred' ?

Not stupid question at all - if you click on the blue dvd word it takes you to it on Amazon - but the synopsis is:

'Fitness expert Jillian Michaels hosts this 60 minute integrated program designed to mix cardiovascular exercise, strength training, and an intense focus on the abs to create a dynamic system that can result in extreme weight loss as impressive as 20 lbs. in 30 days.'

You are meant to do it daily for 30 days - it looks very boot camp exercise to me, lots of squats etc rather than prancing about dancing stuff which is no use for me. It is all of £6.50 so I might give it a go.

I want to be a size 10, and am not bothered about what the scales say but I also want to lose the saddle bags. I carry any excess weight on my hips and stomach. I want to have a nice bum! SW will help shift the weight but I need to tone too.

nope, no excuses (because I once weighed myself after a 2-day "lay-off" and it had made NO difference according to my home scales yet the water in the toilet rose by 8" :rotfl:)

Cholle masala is chickpeas in spices etc and it is vegetarian and it WAS very nice, I ate it all in fact :D and I don't care 5.5 syns is nowt, I still have enough for a glass of wine :D
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

Your telling me about my luck  However I sense things are on the up, am staying silent on this one at the mo due to prying eyes but I feel much happier today :) and a lot more peaceful so I dont sense my mind or hand wandering to the snacks just yet

Yes not just the egg, the mushrooms definately were, the veggie sausage I think might have been fried? And the couple of chips I had as well :o Was quite foul actually, but it was that or bread/paninis/melted cheese type combos or nothing :o

Probably not the best choice out there, but unsure of green days (this is only my 2nd) and Im not sure im doing it right :D
