Them Flippin fairies again !!! they sabotage our diets and wreck our appliances rant2.gif They had my GHD's last week......Ive left them the iron to have a go at today - but ooooh no they wont touch that will they! banghead.gif :rotfl:

You know, I'd forgotten that those pesky fairies wrecked electrical goods when they couldn't force syns down you throat, that explains why I've just had to shell out for a new fridge freezer and our sky tv has decided to die, the fairies are also preventing the engineer from getting here until tuesday.

Congratulations screamer that ring is a real bobby dazzler.

Dizzyk, I can't believe you didn't keep up with those amazing powders when they were working so well, by the way if you've got any spare.....
With your attitude I can't see anything standing in your way of the Mexican dream. :D
Lynz, don't be so hard on yourself, everyone slips up now and again, so you've had a bad week, you sound like you're determined that thats all it will be 'a bad week' so put it behind you and move on, you've done amazingly well and don't forget it.

Going on from our chat about peoples size/weight etc. a previous consultant once said to me 'Which is more important to you being able to fit into size X or weighing Xstone?' obviously the size was more important to me so from that point of view it's not really relevant what the scales say is it? IYSWIM
Mind you I'm still a total scales addict so that makes no sense either. :rotfl:

That is a beautiful ring Screamer, I love the way the band splits. Gorgeous.

The fairies are trying to make me eat, I have had the munchies all day. I have eaten all my syns bar two, my HE a + b (ryvita's and laughing cow) lots of ff yoghurt and strawberries, a banana, a salad, a tin of tuna, cous cous

I am making the tea, it is "Dutch" macaroni. Lots of leek, carrots, peppers in a thick tomato sauce and cubed ham and add macaroni. That should fill me up nicely.

But I have the whole of saturday night, when we usually have nibbles in front of the tv. I think it will have to be carrot, pepper and cucumber sticks for me, I have some tomatoes so will make a salsa.

I will try my hardest not to give in but I can't promise anything..

Congrats Screamer - but I'm not clicking on the pic, sorry! It cost me too much last time :)

Now you scale addicts - GET OFF THOSE SCALES!!!!!! No wonder the fairies visit, they can see you are weak when you keep hopping on the scales. Wait until WI day, as you are told to do!!!

I just bought some Kohinoor "India on a Platter" Cholle Masala for 69p at Home Bargains, just checked the syns and it is 5.5 for 300 g and although it doesn't say I would say it serves two if I do rice or jacket pot with it, so 2.5 syns really and it looks authentic. Will report back later. As I was peckish I also had some inspiration in Home Bargains and picked up a jar of pickled eggs, that was 99p I think. Well I couldn't buy 6 eggs, vinegar, cook eggs, pickle 'em, for 99p. I ate two in the car and it easily dealt with the hunger - FREE!

Also, the really really good news - I bought two size ten tops (they do have Lycra in, but they look good if I say so myself) and a pair of size 12 trousers. I wouldn't want to sit down fast in the trousers yet, but in a week or so that extra centimeter will have gone. I fancy buying my consultant a bunch of flowers, is it ok to do that? I am just so pleased to have got this far.

about the sizes (one top from Asda and one from Laura Ashley) I swear years ago someone (me) with a 36D bosom could NOT wear size 10. My knockers were 32A when I used to wear size 10 before. Not wishing to put anyone, including me, down but I think the sizes are a bit bigger than they used to be.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!
