    Hi everyone

I signed up for SW online last thursday night, first weigh in today (although technically only six days on the plan!) and lost 5.3lbs :D My scales work in kg so it's very specific! Must admit to going over the syns slightly once or twice but I'm getting there! Although I did have to go out for dinner tonight, I tried to limit the damage as much as possible :rotfl:

I've read through the thread tonight, looking forward to trying the couscous fritter things. And to the person who wanted Alpen light offers (sorry, can't remember who :o:o) they're on 2 for £2.50 in Morrison's at the minute :)

    Hey Guys,

My last day of the fast forward plan - thank god - i miss my coffee with milk and could kill for a takeaway!

My wedding dress fitting tomorrow - looking forward to seeing how many inches i have lost since January! I have lost nearly 2.5stone since i brought it!

I took sneaky look at my scales this morning and looks like i have lost another 4lbs this week so far! But i need to make sure i don't blow it at the weekend so the scales are nice to me on Monday!

    Well done everyone x

sorry not been here for a while what is this fast forward plan?

    Hi,

Mrs Mac, Laura - any chance of a link to the right section of minimins? I can't find my way around it very well and sounds interesting. Thanks, hope to catch you there!

    Hi Inazuma

Is it the "fishy week" you are looking for? if so -here is the link...

    http://www.minimins.com/slimming-world/159088-my-fishy-week.html

I spend quite a lot of time over there..mainly because SW on-line doesn't have the chat forum -so I can rattle my head off over there...
hope to see you over there...

    Morning all!!

After my slip up yesterday it didn't get any better. The oh brought home wine which of course I helped him drink :o Meaning that today I have the morning after munchies. I shall see if tea and toast will do!

    B- Tea, milk (A), toast (B), margarine (3)
L- Cous cous (2), beetroot, pickled onion, lettuce & tomato
D- Chicken, curry sauce(?), rice, mushrooms, onions
    S- Fruit, mugshot

Does anybody know the syns in Asda smart price curry sauce please? There has been a jar in the back of the cupboard for months so want to use it up.

    Morning

Well done on your loss Laura - and everyone else!

Ended up having seabass and potatoes last night - was was nice but drenched in oil and fat. Never mind it was still nice to eat out and have something different from my usual pizza/creamy pasta.

Does anyone know how synful mexican food is in general?

I'm going to Wahaca at the weekend and it's Mexican street food, lots of mini bits for sharing like tapas, so quite spicy, chicken, black beans, mini soft tacos, salsa, avocado etc? On the fact of it it seems ok apart from the taco bread which i'll syn and probably chilli oil.

Today I haven't got a proper plan really which is dangerous but I am seriously running out of ideas/inspiration/food supplies!

Probably will have heB bread with egg and bacon in a bit, then if I have time later I might actually get around to doing cous cous frittas (every time i plan it I am too busy and end up with supernoodles as a last resort!)

Dinner's going to be a HM risotto with green veg and a bit of creme fraiche (is low fat creme fraiche free???)
And of course Muller for dessert (loving NY cheesecake flavour 1 syn and vanilla and choc and the mo!)

Thanks! Have a happy Friday :)

    Thanks bettyB :D

Not sure about mexican food- sorry. All I know is veg chilli is not too bad but it doesn't sound like that kind of mexican :)

I am going to nandos for dinner tonight. Have looked at menu online and a section they have on healthy eating. According to the the following is 423cals and 11g fat so I am going with this... that and it's based around free foods! :)

mixed salad- mixed lettuce leaves, peppers, tomatoes
    1/4 lemon and herb chicken
    regular spicy rice

Hopefully won't be too damaging :) That and I'm starting a fishy week tomorrow (although I may start at lunch today :D)

I like the idea of 'fishy week' but isn't it expensive? Where do you guys buy your fish and what kinds/cuts/types of fish do you usually go for? I love it but it always seems to expensive for our budget.

    Morning all,

Had a good week so far - I find it's all ok in the week and then goes to pieces at the weekend :undecided
Doing well with the fluid intake - had 1.5 litres on Weds & over 2 litres yesterday - must keep that going :)

    Meals for today -
B: Shredded wheat bitesize (HEB) with semi-skimmed milk (HEA)
L: Leftover pasta from last night (1.5 syns for oil) with salad & mayo (1/2 syn)
S: Nectarine, strawberries, muller light yogurt
D: Vegetable quarterpounder (5 syns), new potatoes, sweetcorn & peas

My youngest dd has said we're having milk (HEA2) and cake (7.5 syns) tonight because her older sister is having that at brownie camp .... hmmmm Friday nights have certainly changed :D

    Total - 14.5 syns :)

    xx
