Here too, MrsM. In fact it's so hot here that I slept in the basement last night to get a good, cool night's sleep. Feel loads better for it.
I like the idea of a fish week! We had some white fish last night with simple veg and some oven chips (I didn't have the chips). Was delish.
We have friends coming this weekend for a couple of days so will need to plan out our meals. I think that at least one day will be a barbeque, so I'll make that a red day and then perhaps I'll do some dahl for lunches, maybe with cous cous frittas (spiced up a bit).
Anyway, today is off to a good start, has fruit and yogurt for breakfast. I eat the activia yogurts and they come in at three syn each but they really are worth it - I haven't found any zero fat yogurts here that I really like unfortunately.
Have a good dayTrying to keep in budget.

Good morning everyone.
Well done to the losers... I unfortunately am not one of them after WI this morning:(.
After my weekend of naughtiness I have to report a 0.5lb increase. However I am not too upset as I thought it would be more.
This means I have to be extra good and determined this week as next Thurs is my 1st mini goal date of being 13 stone... I am 13.03.5 at the mo.
I need to go to the shops so will report my food diary later. I have found a cookbook in my collection called 200 Low fat dishes and flicking through it, it looks like a lot either fit in with SW or could be adapted easily to fit in. Will let you know when I get round to trying

It is losing 10% of your starting weight.
For example, mine was 13st 10lb which is 192lb (14lb x 13 + 10lb). So I'd have to lose 19lb to get my club 10 = 173lb (12st 5lb)"People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0 -
Morning everyone. Here's my menu for today:
brekkie - Porridge (HEA&B) and banana
lunch - salad, jacket potato, beans, yogurt
Tea - tomato & basil risotto (from the new magazine), prawns, salad or roast veg.
Snacks - strawbs, rasps, nectarine, plums.
i'll probably have some fruit and yogurt for Pud/supper too.0 -
Morning.
Just realised am meeting an old friend for dinner today - we've got vouchers for Strada but I have not managed to successflly eat out on SW so I dont know what to have. The pasta is always creamy and the pizza and salads are so oily.
Other options are Filleted seabass or Seared yellowfin tuna
but my fave is the Grilled asparagus risotto with broad& green beans, peas, spinach, wine and mint.
That might be a bit creamy/winey though.
Ohh I hate having to choose these things ahead of time - always end up chaning my mind or panicking and forgetting what's good for me. Might just have a marghareta pizza in the end coz i'm so skint anyway.
edit - just found this
