    oooo no Marymilkmaid

You won't be doing anything wrong,
Its just that I am by nature a carbohydrate junky -so on EE/green -telling me that I can have pasta, potatoes etc "free" is a dangerous thing to do :o-
On red days I have to measure -so I only have say 198g steamed potatoes in their skins and 28g porridge oats a day -it means I have a balanced ratio of protein and carbs on my plate -rather than a HUGE plate of pasta
which works much better for ME -but thats just ME.....
you obviously aren't doing anything wrong as your losses are great :T

Damn came on here to reply to something but can't remember what now. Hubby says I have 'sometimers' as sometimes I remember and sometimes I don't :rotfl:

I still have a very tender tummy and haven't eaten much but really fancy chips so may do some in a tick.

    So today I have had:

    B - weetabix milk [a] coffee

    L - noodles, 2 s/onions, 4 cherry toms, spoonful beans.

    T - will make 1 big potato into chips later + wm roll , s/cream [1], oil spray [2]

Snacks - fibre plus bar [5.5], fruit & muller if tummy lets me later

    Syns - 8.5

I keep trying to get hubby to eat sw food as he is seriously overweight, he did start with me last time and lost a stone then his dad died and it all went pear shaped. Now he still won't entertain sw but I feel a bit of a break through about to happen, he has agreed to have ff fromage & frozen mixed berries as part of his meals. I know its nothing major but its a tiny start. I did make him sw chilli which he liked. I just need to get him off the bread & biscuits now :p.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

I started as a size 16 at just over 14 stone, it took me three months of red to get me down to 11 stone 3 and a size 10 - and a year of eating [STRIKE]junk[/STRIKE] toast to get me back up to 10/12 and 12 stone.

A week of extra easy and my size 10 jeans no longer hurt :)!

The inspiration problem was solved by going to the pub for lunch. I behaved and had smoked salmon, king prawns, balsamic dressed salad and new pots with lemon. It was lovely. Shame about the two pints of Amstel. I can't find my book but know I am over on syns so need to be good again tomorrow.

Does anyone know how many syns the milky bar crispy rolls are?

    Hello,

waiting for my tea to cook: spciy chicken, steamed potatoes and a huge salad.

Went a bit mental last night: DD passed her exams with flying colours, whoohoo.

We had the chinese take away as planned, I was full up and then later on I spotted these choc chip brioche in the cupboard and just ate two. Why? I don't know. It had been an emotional day with the exam results coming etc but there was no real reason for it and they lay like a heavy stone on my tummy all night, had to get up to drink Gaviscon. Must be those fairies that made me do it.

Today back on track: B: fruit L: tuna and left over AH cous cous and tomato salad.

Dizzy: Have you been yet? Good luck with your weigh in.

I think somethings on the move ;) my belly is making some awful noises now....set off to WI in quarter of an hour tho so not much time for damage limitation I dont reckon (not 6lbs worth!!) Im only weighing and straight home....think that might be best tonight lol:rotfl:

I I need to find some other rewards for myself, I have said that when I get to 11 something I will go for a trip to the place in meadowhall where the fish nibble your feet, have fancied trying that for a while :)

Dizzy, seems like we have similar goals and are similar weights now, we should team up and spur each other on!

    Hiya Sian!
You must be somewhere near me but there's now way I'm puting my feet in a tank with some fish - I won't even paddle in the sea if I see a little one in there!

I think I may be in the same boat as you as the consultant at my meeting fair whizzed thro the explanation of how the whole scheme works - I was really quite cross - surely that's the most important part of the whole joining process!

    How are you doing dawn?
hmm I'm getting by, struggling with my motivation a bit tbh. I think if I were losing 1-2 pound a week I'd be able to stay focussed - it's not so bad giving things if you know you've only got to be strict with yourself for say 4 months. The rate I'm losing it'll be more like a year which is just too long to stay focussed.
So I'm trying to stick with it as much as I can - tricky at the moment as there's a rahs of birthdays in August and then it's my hols.
    Today is GREEN

    HEA - SS milk x 2
HEB - 2 x weetabix, Weetabix oaty bar

Breakfast - Weetabix, banan and milk
    Snack - banana
    Lunch - Root Veg Balti ( 5syns) & Rice
    - FF Yoghurt
    - Pineapple
Tea - Pasta and veg + sauce (1)
    - Strawberries and FF Fromage Frais
    - Oaty bar with a nice cuppa tea

6 syns today - trying to be good as it is someones leaving do tomorrow.

not good :o been a tiny weeny but hardly worth the bother :( Im hoping summat will move before WI tonight as apeek at the scales is showing 6lb gain :eek: and its not the fairies. theyr gonna need a crane to get me on the scales at this rate:o :rotfl:

I imagine that is all water Dizzyk. No way would you gain 6lbs of fat since ur last WI!!
Could I ask which plan people mainly use & what each plan does to their weight loss.

Ive done a mix of green & red my average loss is 2-3lbs per week.

Ive just started EE as i needed a change. I'm slowly getting to grips with it but am wondering if it will slow my weightloss down?

I mix green, red and EE. I went through a spell of mainly green days and it slowed my losses down dramatically. So instead of having green days i go EE but if i am craving carbs then i go green for a day or two every now and again.

My best losses are always when i follow red days :) I have PCOS and the Gynaecologist i used to see recommended a low carb diet. I find that i do get bored and need some rice or potatoes sometimes which is why i go EE rather than green (it saves me overdoing the carbs!)

I've gone green today and i am starting to feel a bit bloated and urgh. . .

That virus has been going a while. Its intention is to sell you software. It has been round my office before and the IT guys zap it with their big fairy flyswatters!!! lol.

Talking of those pesky fairies... WHO SENT THEM TO ME?? I had a job getting rid of the bleeders last night when they possessed my mum...

I have oversynned today thanks to the little blighters!! I had 5 quorn nuggets at 7.5 syns (instead of 3!) and 1/2 jar of sweet n sour sauce (3.5) which is 11 syns. Plus i had the crispy things and lemon curd and pasta n sauce and oyster sauce which takes my syns up to 17! BAH! mad0136.gif

Thankfully tho - i didn't eat peanut butter last night like i planned so only ended up eating 4.5 syns all day... so i guess its not so bad rolleye0016.gif

I still hate those fairies tho! Grrrr

Hmm Vixi Pixie - your post has given me food for thought. I'm mostly GREEN and my loss is VERY slow - perhaps I should try more EE. Thing is tho, I'd have to syn myself for milk - I drink a lot of tea. Perhaps will have a proper EE week next week and see if that makes any difference.
