Mrs M, the way I look at it, our "reward" now for being good is that we LOOK GOOD! Isn't it fab when you see yourself in a mirror and realise how much better you look, I can't stop admiring myself and I'm not even at my target yet :)I realised the other day I haven't had chocolate, or even wanted any, for weeks. In fact, I find it hard to fit enough real food into my day now, I often reach bedtime and realise I've not had my HEB (HEA is always skimmed milk as I drink a few cups of coffee a day). Someone was doing cross-stitch? I've re-taken up knitting, it keeps my fingers and mind busy and I don't want to get food on the work!
oooohh Blackberry rum -Im not at the "admiring" myself stage yet :p-I have loads left to shift, but I know I look better and every ounce is a step in the right direction.
I Haven't had any choc bars, biccies, cake, pastry or anything like that since I started SW 15 weeks ago -oohh I had 1 packet of french fries but didn't like them-so left them . I do have the fibre plus bars and thats enough choc for me now,,, I really don't miss anything or get cravings and I really believe that it is because I eat a very varied diet and lots of fresh food so my blood sugars don't peak and trough ;).
I use to struggle to use my A+Bs and syns -but I have porridge most mornings with banana + berries so thats 1B and most of an A used -then I save the other B for my evening meal -or a fibre plus bar, and my other A I make iced coffee mmmmm, and this last couple of weeks Im getting better at using more syns up Im usually around 9ish now :D.
Its me doing the cross stitching too ;)-there is no way I will eat when Im doing that and to be honest I setle down with that and lose myself for hours :T, Im not very good at knitting -unless its tiny baby things -I wish I was good at it though,,,,
Dizzy -thanks for that :D-I know very little about PCs -and would hate to think I have clangered everyone elses machines
Screamer -don't worry about the difference in your weight because its an evening weigh in-it only makes a difference the 1st time you weigh-after that its just the same.... pinkies crossed for a good result for you ;)

right Im off to x-stitch whilst watching Trauma and then cops :D
    Have a good evening all

Well, I went to my first slimming world meeting on Tuesday, and it wasn't any where near as scary as I thought it would be.

I've managed to stick really well to what I should be eating, and I'm planning to cook something this eveing that I can put in the freezer for those days you don't want to cook.

I got myself some digital scales yesterday, and this morning, I was gutted when I had about three mini shredded wheat in my bowl! I normally love a bowlful of cereal in the morning!

I know it's rude to say I told you so....... but I told you so, none of us here bite either, unless of course we're really really hungry, lol.
For breakfast, if it has to be cereal try weetabix you can have 2 of those, so no weighing, or if 1 is enough for you you could split a HEB and have 1 weetabix for brekkie (1/2 HEB) and have an alpen lite bar (1/2 HEB) for later in the day. Hope that helps.

Could I ask which plan people mainly use & what each plan does to their weight loss.

Ive done a mix of green & red my average loss is 2-3lbs per week.

Ive just started EE as i needed a change. I'm slowly getting to grips with it but am wondering if it will slow my weightloss down?

Ive done EE and went from a size 12-14 ( more 14!) to a size 8-10. on EE only, now 9 stone, was 11- something.

I started in Easter but had a month off, and came back a few weeks ago.

Glad you didn't find it as daunting as you expected :T-Im another who will only have 2 weetabix or 28g porridge oats(with 1 scan bran thingy) if Im using a healthyextraB ... the porridge made up and with sliced banana and mixed berries is really filling and I would eat it as a pud -tis yummy;)
Mary Milkmaid -I started on EE and lost well, but I swapped to RED days so I could have 2 A+Bs -I was having to use my syns to buy extra milk on EE :( ... and I have found red days really suit me -it also helps me keep my meals balance....

    Hello,

waiting for my tea to cook: spciy chicken, steamed potatoes and a huge salad.

Went a bit mental last night: DD passed her exams with flying colours, whoohoo.

We had the chinese take away as planned, I was full up and then later on I spotted these choc chip brioche in the cupboard and just ate two. Why? I don't know. It had been an emotional day with the exam results coming etc but there was no real reason for it and they lay like a heavy stone on my tummy all night, had to get up to drink Gaviscon. Must be those fairies that made me do it.

Today back on track: B: fruit L: tuna and left over AH cous cous and tomato salad.

Dizzy: Have you been yet? Good luck with your weigh in.

Thank you ! It is great. Although I am not managing to keep the fairies at bay at all! So how long it will last I dont know :(

    Evening all,

Had a decent day, at least I think so....

Breakfast - 2 x weetabix and weight watchers yoghurt
Lunch - went to Nando's as planned, in the end I had the couscous salad with a chicken breast on top, plus a corn on the cob. We also shared half a chicken which we got free (from our loyalty card) of course I took the skin off.

Dinner - don't know yet, I'm not very hungry at the moment and am not really in the mood to make anything, might just have a munch on an apple later.

Can't wait for weigh in on Monday, I really want at least 2lb off!
