Well I have had a great week food wise
have really enjoyed eating yummy, fresh food and my scales show a 5lb weight loss since Sunday
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -
Afternoon all
Well -after the problem people mentioned with that pic I posted the other day -I have checked our virus vault and put a virus scan on *ok I had to phone my nephew to find out how as Im a PC numpty* -and there was nothing in my vault or on the scan .. so gawd only knows where it came from. Hope everyone elses PCs are ok -have been sat worrying about everyone not being able to post or check their syns on line
Anyway -APART from that, today has gone ok so far... I ended up having smoked haddock instead of salmon for lunch , oooh and I have had a couple of slices of ham (free)as I was rather hungry, but I have lamb steak with home made wedges n veggies to look forward to :j-so thats the 1st day of hubby being away nearly over and done with -and I still have a fibre plus bar(B), 2 iced coffees and 6.5syns left for after dinner "just in case" :T-its amazing how much you can eat if you are wise with your hex and syns isn't it :j
*ahhh just realised why I was hungry* -I didn't have my iced coffee this afternoon-that usually bridges the gap, still it means I get to have 2 later if I want (heAs);)
I always used to be a reward myself or cheer myself up with food person too, but I have finally stamped that out. Since I started SW I decided it had to stop so now I never do it and I don't "treat" myself that way on weigh day either . I have at last faced up to all my baggage -and I now Know exactly how my mind works where food is concerned -if Im honest I have known for a long time, but now I have accepted how I react to food and why- I have never felt so good -or found losing weight so easy *remind me I said that if I start to struggle*
Well done on the losses ladies..and pinkies crossed for those weighing in later...

I think it must be from the hosting company that you used MrsM...rather than anything from your computer so u werent to know, Im not very good either with the computer :eek:but I rang my son. My security thing caught it and its in quarantine now(whatever that is ) a bit like a rabid dog I suppose LOL:rotfl:

who asked about target setting? It doesn't have to be your ideal body weight according to a chart, you can set a target at whatever you want as I understand it; then re-set it if you want to so you are doing it in manageable and not-so-scary chunks. I'm nearly at my target, but eventually I want another stone off but I will take a little break and relax a tad and feel proud of my weight loss so far ... then lurch off into another few months of being stricter with myself:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

Aww, you poor thing.Take hope from the fact that It can't carry on for ever, can it? At some point it will have to ..... ahem.......find a way out, otherwise you'll end up enormous.
Hope WI goes as well as it can and just think if you have 'gained' 6lbs this week,if the problem is resolved, you've set yourself up for a MASSIVE loss next week. When Life Throws You Lemons Make Lemonade0 -
Mrs M, the way I look at it, our "reward" now for being good is that we LOOK GOOD! Isn't it fab when you see yourself in a mirror and realise how much better you look, I can't stop admiring myself and I'm not even at my target yet :)I realised the other day I haven't had chocolate, or even wanted any, for weeks. In fact, I find it hard to fit enough real food into my day now, I often reach bedtime and realise I've not had my HEB (HEA is always skimmed milk as I drink a few cups of coffee a day). Someone was doing cross-stitch? I've re-taken up knitting, it keeps my fingers and mind busy and I don't want to get food on the work!:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!
