I found maintaining difficult tbh which is why I am back here.
Ive just been speaking to a friend from group who has been at target now and maintained for 2 years :T shes a fab lady in her mid 70s tho you wouldnt know it with her wicked sense of humour
she said she thinks It is a lot harder maintaining than it is losing the original weightBut through trial and error she found that her best way was to stick to plan through the week, then relax at the weekend allowing herself a kind of 'flexible weekend' more syns and a glass of wine with her 'proper' sunday lunch then as soon as monday comes she is back on the plan again. She has never gained and never feels the need to succumb to the fairies as every weekend she has pretty much what she wants....but has learnt thru the plan "what would be a totally stupid choice-as she says"

Morning everyone
Well done to all those who have reported loses and the NSV of course
I did well yesterday and stuck to plan, had 6.5 syns in total so managed to banish those fairies for a while, the coley in the veg stir fry wasn't very nice so don't think it will appear on the menu again.
Food plan for today is -
B - FF nat fromage frais with banana and kiwi
L - Slice of ham with veg sticks - carrot, cucumber, celery and some beetroot. With cous cous made with chick stock, lemon juice and cayenne. Rasberries, strawbs and cherries to keep me going through the afternoon.
T - Cottage pie with onion, mushrooms toms and leeks made with my own HM extra extra lean minced beef (an experiment!!) Served with broccoli and green beans and a bit of Hea cheddar to go on the top.
S - 1.5 syns for sugar Fibre plus bar (Heb) and some pineapple as it needs using. Need to get some more syns in there, sure I will find a way!! I read that Curyl Wurlys are only 6 so might hunt some out later, just hope i can stick to eating one!!
Hope everyone has a good daySW started 28.06.10 - 4, -7.5, -1.5, -2.5, -1, -1and 1/4, -3, +3.5, -2.50 -
I could also do with some inspiration Hex!
I have in some flat mushrooms, Some new potatoes that need to be used, few normal mushrooms, half a bag of salad, couple of carrots couple of courgettes. Selection of beans, and all the carbs 2x chicken leg portions in the freezer. Couple of eggs. half a bag of quorn mince. A ham to be roasted.
How do you feel about omlettes or tortillas? I would be tempted to stir fry the mushrooms and thinly sliced courgettes, cook the potatoes then slice and mix the egg with a little milk if you have some from your HEA and some salt and pepper and whack it under the grill or in the oven. Would be lovely with some salad.
I love just eating carrots raw, and I love grated carrot with salad, yummy!
You could also make some burgers with the mince and an egg. not sure what type of beans you are talking about but if they are tinned ones you could make a nice veggie burger.God is good, all the time
Do something that scares you every day

I was going to suggest a potato and mushroom omelette too, that's what first sprang to my mind when I read your ingredient list! We used to call this a farmer's omelette and it involved onion, potato and mushrooms all chopped and "fried" (you could use ready cooked potatoes cubed small) then toss them into the omelette and top with cheese. It's the most divine omelette you can ever imagine.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

aloha ladies. that's me back at work today so hopefully my eating will be kept in check. our consultant had a few of us putting on 0.5 lb and said to write down every syn as we all know the free food we are eating as we have been on plan for a while now.
eating plan for today;
b - hifi (HEB) and banana
l - baked spud, tinned makerel, fruit salad
d - chicken casserole (if oh has managed to make it - he works in a school so is off work, lucky mofo) or pasta and veggies
snacks - nothing, maybe some cold meat when i get home and milk as HEA.
no plans for any syns but we'll see how things go. x"I believe in manicures. I believe in overdressing. I believe in primping at leisure and wearing lipstick. I believe in pink. I believe happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and... I believe in miracles."

Mmmmm omelettes with potatoes. We call it Spanish omelette as we first had it in Spain when I was about 8 but it had peppers, onions and peas in too. They have potato omelette sandwiches I notice also in Spain"People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0

:T thaks dizzy thats sounds perfect for me. I like the idea of the rigidity of the plan to keep me in line :T
Hope it works
OK been out to the shops ( again) and so todays menu is EE
HEA skimmed milk
HEB- Alpen lites - as usual
Brek banana yog & rasperry, Alpen lite
Lunch - egg 2x flat mushrooms done in the george foreman ( WOW these were great!) bacon beans
Dinner is- paprika roast new pots, frying steak, mushrooms, babycorn, peas and salad.
Will not have any syns today until I eat the rest of the ginger biscuits tonight :rotfl:
Will have to try very hard to remove the fairies :beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Hello everyone,
I think I'm about to have my star week as it doesn't matter what I eat I want something really naughty, so have checked online and a whole Galaxy Cookie Crumble chocolate bar (45g) is 12.5 syns so if I eat no other syns today I'm going to have one of these with a cup of something nice later!
ON another note, I've heard people talking about syn free sausages. Where can you get these? I text my consultant about them and she said that there is a butchers in Walsham Le Willows that do them. Does anyone know this butchers of is W Le W so small there is only one butcher? It's a bit of a drvie from me (I'm in Ipswich) but I'd be prepared to do it to get my hands on them, I bet they're deeeeeee-lish!
Thanks,

WI this morning and despite being good and not going over my syns at all this week I have managed to put 0.4lb on so half a lb on. I am 13.02.2:( not the 13st I was hoping for.
THIS WEEK I WILL DO IT!!! 2lb loss is my target for this week.
I think the past couple of days I've not ate enough and especially not enough superfree... just normal free stuff. So off to the shops AGAIN grrrrr.. I think I will buy 3 lettuces this time.. which may last til Monday.
I have resolved myself to exercise aswell nowas I clearly need something more as it's not shifting as quickly as i'd like with these little gains every now and again.
We have just booked a week in Lanzagrote for 1st week in Sept, can't wait! So I'd like to be half a stone lighter for then... 7lb's in 4 weeks?!?! (mexico is with my friends so poor OH has nothing to look forward to).
I'll post food plan later when I know what food I have.
xx
Hello Trixietoes,
Looking at your signature it looks like you tend to lost a large amount one week and then make a small gain the next so I am sure that you will have a good loss next week.Make £2012 in 2012 member #88
