  • Hi all :D

I've just joined SW this week so am going to take some time to look through the thread for some ideas and inspiration, however I have a quick question if that's OK? I'm looking for an iphone app that can help me with meal planning / tracking what I've eaten etc.. I started thus week with good old paper & pen but I tend to need to see whats on the plan and what I've already had during the day (and for me to keep a check before I forget!) - anyone have any ideas?

WI tonight so i've not really had too much today, currently munching on 2 boiled eggs mixed with v. light mayo and mustard and i'll maybe have a hifi bar. i know it's silly not to eat so much before WI but i've always done it. :\ green day today anyways, so i'll have a jacket spud and something for dins... x
I think If you did a survey of everyone- they would all say (if they were truly honest) they ate differently on WI day;) I eat breakfast, a lighter kind of lunch...salady rather than JP then I wont drink after 4pm and I WI at 7 lol....you can see everyone at group jump off the scales then grab a drink and a hifi bar :rotfl::rotfl:theyre all at it

haha same at mines, my group is above a pub and they do slimming world meals that they deliver to group so everyone is munching them or hifi bars straight after WI! i don't really drink after 3pm and my WI in is at 7. not sure if it even makes a difference but i don't want to try!

Does anyone follow the plan and then end up not losing weight? I am struggling at the moment to work out if it is worth me carrying on as it doesn't seem to be having much of an effect on me. I need to lose 2 stone and it seems an endless distance away :(

i was the same the last time i did SW, keep at it as my mistake was not going back to class. are you writing everything down? you may not be eating enough and holding onto weight? x

I agree, I sit there chomping on a Hifi bar and always have lunch planned for afterwards.
Just had a hot water and lemon (on Mrs M's recommendation, let's hope it gets things moving eh?) and don't plan on having anything else to eat or drink until after weighing in. If I haven't lost from last week I think I may actually cry. That would be embarrassing :rotfl:

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I started back at Weight Watchers last week, wanting to loose a stone. I feel like i've been hungry all week, however, stuck to my points and was gutted to stay the same weight.

I am going to give Slimming World a go, and have borrowed my mum's books until i find a class.

Does anybody know how many syns a 125ml glass of weight watchers wine is?

But what about keeping that boiler stoked?

Must slow it down to not eat for half a day?

Its not relevant for me realy as I WI in the mornings on monday before Brek so its doesnt bother me anyway.

However, my scales are broken and they are telling me I am nearly 8 stone, suggesting a stone loss in one day. I dont think so! So must try and find some new ones ( sigh)

I am almost at maintainence now. TAkeit Eazy, I notice your meal plans are not so different from before, are you upping your A&Bs or are you upping general syns? Or still hoping to lose a little more?

    Bit confused about green days:

So far today i have had
    HEA skimmed milk
    HEB 2x alpen lites
Couscous salad with veg ( ran out of chicken) jsut ate it, now ran out of AH couscous  aaah! About to have strawbs and yog ( 1/4 sysn for the half pack of CC)
Dinner is a quorn and veggie chilli out fo the freezer with either JP or rice ( all free)

Looks like this is a green day, no? I have never done red or green, only EE

If this is green can I have extra syns or HEA/b?
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
