Hi my husband is considering slimming world as he needs to loss about 4 st he likes the idea of unlimited quantites of food. He wants to do Atkins but can't afford it and I don't think its healthy and it doesn't fit in with family life. So the problem is he won't go to a meeting - no way no how, he will sign up on line but its very expensive £60. Anyway I'm rambling I'll looked through some of the thread and get the rough basics as I do the cooking I think breakfast and evening meals should be doable but he normally gets a subway for lunch (footlong guess how hes putting on weight) he won't eat salads at work and says he needs more than a tiny sanwich so I was wondering what you guys do at for packed lunchs or what you can buy out for lunch he works in a big town so has lots of choice. Any suggestions greatly appreciated just I want to be sure before we lash £60 and he ends up putting more weight on:eek:Mam 2 Big E Nov 4 & Little A June 10:happylove0

good luck with the back and forwarding to the loo today Dizzy, just think about the weight loss and make sure you have plenty of loo roll.
Come on Niandra, positive thinking hun, forget about your "off" day, blame it on the fairies and move on. You can do it!
Just been to Lidl and they had some Ainsley Harriot's cous cous for 49p but unfortunately they were nearly all cleared out already but I got a couple.
DD has decided we are having chinese take away tonight instead of going out for our tea :j so that makes me feel so much better. I think I am going to have chicken chop suey 5.5 syns (the book says with noodles but having it with rice)
Anyone had something in Oyster or black bean sauce? What is it like? Do they come with beansprouts or vegetables or do I need to make some to make it 1/3 superfree for EE
and I am staying away from the prawn crackers and having half of the girls' dishes.
I am so happy, I can't tell you. (just waiting for DD's exam results today, by email, might not be so happy later on, poor thing, she worked hard, so fingers crossed)0 -

Hi
I think it is do able by yourself hun if you stick to Extra Easy. Your OH doesn't have to eat salad. Does he like things like rice, chili etc? You could invest in a wide mouth flask and make chili with rice, or cous cous with plenty of veg in it, nice and filling as well, much more so than a sandwich, believe me, or cooked chicken chopped up, or a baked potato with filling, egg mayo, tuna etc0 -
Does anyone follow the plan and then end up not losing weight? I am struggling at the moment to work out if it is worth me carrying on as it doesn't seem to be having much of an effect on me. I need to lose 2 stone and it seems an endless distance awayGod is good, all the time

Hi everyone,
Been so busy at work taken me about 2 hours to catch up on this thread and i have lost all i wanted to comment on so i do apologise, but well done to all losses and to those who didn't lose quite as much as they hoped lets hope next week will be better, just get rid of those fairies. I wish i could find some housework fairies today but they have all left and gone on strike!
Glad you had a good birthday Dizzy, happy belated birthday.Morning all,
Just got my first tub of Quuuaaaaaaark!! Very exctied, but no idea where to start with it - any suggestions to ease me into it??
I bought my first tub last week and made a lovely pasta salad, I cooked the pasta then added some chopped red peppers, sweetcorn, onion and cherry tomatoes, added some quark and some grated reduced fat cheddar cheese as part of HEA stirred all in and put into a tupperware tub and that was my lunch and dinner for following 2 days and the pasta didn't stick together either. All i had to do was make a side salad each time with it.
I would also love some other suggestions from people but am making the pasta salad again this week.
My first WI today and have lost a wooping 4lbs:j, i am shocked as i'm eating more than when on WW but lost more in a week! Hope i can keep it up. I also had a visit from those damn fairies and ate 3 packets of treat size buttons and 4 mini milks! with that and othere syns from sauces etc had 21 syns yesterday so hope they have left now.
Thinking i'm having an EE day today but now sure what yet, not much food in the house. Aaaarggghhhh.
Am going to talk to my housework fairies now and tell them to get on with it!
Hope you all have a good day

I'm struggling too Sian despite being a good girl (I managed to put on weight this week and have lost less than a pound a week when averaged out). I also need to lose a similar amount. maybe we could pair up to see if we can help each other along Pm me if you're interested.0 -
Well done to all who lost
Well i'm disapointed stayed the same and had been 100%
I am going to try and do EE this week I know with everyones help I'll get it right.
