However, my scales are broken and they are telling me I am nearly 8 stone, suggesting a stone loss in one day. I dont think so! So must try and find some new ones ( sigh)

I got some WW digital doctors scales from Argos they are bang on accurate to what I Weigh in at group. Ive had about 4 different lots of scales and these have been the best by far.. they weigh in 1/4 pounds too I think theyre a tenner off at the mo aswell

I started back at Weight Watchers last week, wanting to loose a stone. I feel like i've been hungry all week, however, stuck to my points and was gutted to stay the same weight.

I am going to give Slimming World a go, and have borrowed my mum's books until i find a class.

Does anybody know how many syns a 125ml glass of weight watchers wine is?

If I remember rightly, WW wine is almost the same syns as the regular stuff (ie 175ml = 6 syns, I know that because I have a glass most evenings) so you might as well get something nice to drink!Who's talking about slow weight loss. Mine is about 1 lb a week (I managed to put on half a pound this week - damn those quorn eggs) and that's reckoned to be the best way to lose, slowly. So be patient. If you lose a pound a week for a year it's 52 lbs!
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

haha same at mines, my group is above a pub and they do slimming world meals that they deliver to group so everyone is munching them or hifi bars straight after WI! i don't really drink after 3pm and my WI in is at 7. not sure if it even makes a difference but i don't want to try!

What an amazing class that must be! I love the idea!

In the class I went to on Monday, as soon as people got weighed, they disappeared into this wee kitchen and came out with cups of tea or coffee and then started to munch on their hifi bars. I was hungry for my tea and since no one told me what the deal was, like help your self, I just sat there watching everyone,

4 syns per 125 ml ..... as Blackberry said it really is about the same as normal wine to be honest (probably a lot cheaper to buy the normal stuff too)

what's the difference with WW wine? i take it that it's reduced sugars? i much prefer SW, i dabbled with WW food for a while but i never lost anything as the wee tins of soup and ready meals weren't very nice and never filled me up. i sometimes get the crisps from poundland.

lockdown from now girls. nil by mouth til 7.01pm when i can get a coffee and a hifi bar. :P

I am going to nip to the supermarket shortly to stock up on more fruit and veg and thought I would be brave and pick up some quark - i'm a quark virgin!!! So my question is what does everyone recommend I try with it? I've heard its a bit dry and claggy which puts me off...does it go better with sweet or savoury?
