This thread reminds me of the old Boots thread...it used to take a whole evening to catch up on posts but was always an evening well spent!

Well, I've had a few interesting days since I last posted. On Saturday I had my friends bbq. She was fine about me taking my own meat and so I ate bbq salmon, steak and chicken along with a bit of cucumber salad and greek salad where the feta was a b choice and the olives counted as a syn. I was drinking vodka and diet coke all day...well, that was a mistake! I lost count after a number of them....we were there from 2 in the afternoon. The hosts did some more food as it got dark and by this time I was hungry again so had 3 sausages and a burger and lots more vodka!!!! Great night, got home at twenty to three in the morning!

Yesterday I was good until the evening when I was going to see Maceo Parker play. Went to dinner first and had the best that I could which was plaice fillet on roast vegetable cous cous but I should have been on an EE day and I wasn't so I had too many b choices and a couple of glasses of red wine!

    Today I've been really good.

I'm a teacher and this is the first time in all the time that I've been teaching that I've actually tried to control what I eat during the summer holidays and it's hard because I spend a lot of time meeting friends to catch up so I think I've done quite well this week.

My plan is to lose a stone and a half by the time I start teaching again in September. I've already thrown out the pair of trousers that I was wearing constantly and have more things that I'm hoping to throw if I make that target. It will be so much easier to lose once I'm back at work too and have a bit more structure to my days (I hope!)

I'm weighing in tomorrow night then going walking with my best friend for a bit of body magic so I'll try and post my loss (I hope that's what it is), when I get back in.

P.S: Read a good recipe tonight for a realyl simple dinner that I'm curious to try and that would be free on Green and EE: Cook spaghetti. Grate 2 courgettes (don't cook as far as I can see), chop a handful of mint, squeeze a generous teaspoon of lemon juice and take a pinch of chilli flakes. Mix them all together wiht the pasta....light and simple (and another good way to use up those courgettes!)

Oh and think they put parmesan on here too so that would be a Healthy Extra but you get loads as a healthy extra with parmesan!

Well its my Birthday today :D :beer:I was hoping my number 1 present would be A MASSIVE BIG POO.....but sadly it hasnt arrived as yet, and a sneaky peak on the scales now shows 4lb gain:eek:

not sure what were doing yet, oh has taken the day off, and we may pop out for a bit of retail therapy, but my son is taking me for a carvery at tea time so I dont want to be too tired walking round for that :p

When I had my op in March oh bought me an automatic mazda MX5 sports car as a get well present....but ive only ever been a passenger as my vision is still affected from the op(ive got a funny bouncy vision when moving like when someone runs with a video camera)
anyways were going somewhere deserted today and im going to have a little drive of it lol.....might be the only time I do :o I fear she might have to be sold at the end of the year if this vision thing doesnt come right.

anyway wont post my menu just yet as anything could happen food wise....but I wont be going silly......cant flippin afford to with what the scales say today:mad:

I think I may have had a false reading at WI last week... especially after an indulgent weekend. The scales flickered then droped to 13.01.8... so I think wishful thinking I just grabbed that and used it instead of the higher one. I had a sneaky peek at the scales this morning and after being really good this week I am 13.02.2.. 2 days to official WI so I'll still be good... better even.

    Today (EE)
    B - 2 toast (B) butter (2) Marmite (F)
    L - Ham Salad (F)
D - SW KFC chicken (3) SF chips (F) Salad (F) SW BBQ sauce (F)
    Snx - Yoghurt (2) Granola (5) fruit (F). Veggie Rice (F) Couscous salad (F)

Have a good day everyone xx
