I cooked two (naturally I didn't look up the recipe on here!) and ate one, the other is for work tomorrow. It was very dry, but I always find breast dry. But surely the cheesy garlicky stuff should melt through and make it tasty and juicy? Well it didn't, it was just sitting there all claggy in the middle. I used quark, was that wrong? Just out of interest. Muchos thankos.
Could it be that you cooked yours for a longer time on a higher temp. I'm rubbish at cooking meat as I was a vegetarian for 13 years and never ever learnt how to cok it - I'm terrified of underdoing meat so let it cook long and slow.0 -
I havent tried kievs yet, although the kids do love them, but i was not sure how to do it plus im mostly sticking to green days at the mo[STRIKE]Shazbo[/STRIKE]

Oh, ladies and gents - terrible day following that 'just one jaffa cake' this morning. I just went into that what the heck thing and ate and ate..
The sugar free polos didn't even affect me other than to give me a sore tum which, along with all the other stuff I've eaten it is just going round and round like a big washing machine.
Well tomorrow is another day and another blank page in my book of syns. Pass me that electric fairy splatter, Vixie!
Sorry to hear about your Kiev, Blackberry - not sure it's ever going to be great as an SW dish, it should have boiling hot butter spurting out as you cut it; when I was young and it was THE thing to eat in restaurants, the waiters used to offer to cut it open for you so it didn't blort all over your new frock.0 -
Hi guys!
Have had a good first day back on the plan, I think
B weetabixx2 and milk 1tsp sugar (1syn)
L a pack of chicken tikka and a whole melon
D ham, cucumber, cottage cheese, celery, cherries, apple, tomatoes,
snacks a muller yogurt and 5 thorntons choccies (??2 Syns each)
so I think that was okay, early night for me as I am going to tackle the garage of doom tomorrow:eek::eek::eek::eek: and will need the energy:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -

I'm useless at "real" cooking (fantabuloso at microwaving from scratch) so I cooked them for about 20 mins with the dial at about 175, and apparently in the halogen oven the temps are higher iyswim. So maybe that was why it didn't melt down. It was cooked through. And the cat thought it was fab
Inazuma, there was no spurting going on, believe me! It was edible, I've had worse SW recipes (many of 'em) but boring. Oh well, another one off the list
I'm gonna get me some of them sf polos!!!:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

I feel fat and blotted tonight then I got thinking ( don't do that very offen ) are all sea food sticks free? I've had a lot of them today and just got a horriable feeling they are not. In the hand book they say free but just want to double check.GC July £250/0

Must make some extra pennies though, to make up for all the new clothes Ive had to buy recently :beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0
