Mary, I have only done EE! Mainly because I didnt want to be concerned with weighing which red/green seems to have some of.

I have gone down from a size 14 to a 6/8/10 depending which dress labels you want to believe since I started it in Easter.

Im about 2 or 3lbs from target and will maintain on EE.

I cant understand why anyone would do red/green just as some dont "get" EE at all! :D good job we are all different :D

I know i sound like a stuck record on here, but I will say it again in case you haven't seen me bang on about it.

The more bread you have the more you want.

    there, said it again.

If you are craving, and believe me i know about the bread-induced craving- its like no other! My advice is avoid bread for the next few days and see how you feel. Everytime Ive eaten bread while on SW I have been ravenous the next day, I mean RAVENOUS, like I could go into a shop and sweep the whole shelf of choc crisps and the like,

I know thats probably not what you wanted to hear :D but i just find it a lot easier to live without it, just makes life easier slightly :o

Mind you, someone else might have different advice :D

i just avoid bread altogether, nothing will ever compare to toastie loaf warburtons with loads of lurpak. syn-alicious. :(

Could anyone check syn value as cannot get Asda Chickpea dhal in N.Ireland.
    400gms tin (Mahala Chickpea dhal)

    Per 100grms
    kcals 97
    protein 4.7
    Carbs 14.1
    fat 2.4
    sat fat 0.2
    fibre 3.4

I asked in Minimins website & they said 3 syns per 100grms but looking at nutritional value of Asda's one there doesn't seem to be a big difference except carbs.
    Thanx

Or Hot Hm crusty french loaf direct from the breadmaker with lashings of President unsalted.

And a hearty beef stew

Im awaiting winter for that synalicious combo ( i am putting things off, its a technique I have that actually works quite well!) A rainy cold day with the Breadmaker and the slow cooker just ready when you walk in through the door is magic.

Will wait a few months though I should be at maintenance by then :D

I agree Lynz, bread has always been my big problem. White bread is worst so we just dont have any at all now.

White bread is the devil - before SW i would have 2 slices of white toast for brekkie.... followed by another 2...

On saturdays i would have been known to have up to 5 slices of toast in one day!!

As soon as i have it now my stomach kills me for days after dispite the fact i enjoyed it at the time...

    Its evil... nuff said!!
My word you lot are doing fab!!!

Ive lost 26 1/2lb since 1st June but Ive had 2 bad bingeing days. At the moment I cant seem to find anything that hits the spot or any recipes that spur me on :(

Also none of my clothes seem too big, need to loose 3 more stones at least.

think I need a big boots up the backside :o

Well done on your loss so far! Thats fab!! :D

Put those 2 binge days behind you, they are over and done with now!

I know how you feel tho. There are times when I think i'm bored and then i discover a recipe or something that reignites the passion for the plan!

With the clothes - I am 2 lbs off 4 stone and i have to lose another 4 (at least) on top... but i have only shed 2 dress sizes. . so i can understand your frustration.

You can do it tho. Read this thread, note any food diaries or recipes you like the sound of... i'm sure you will find something that will give you the boost you need!
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

    new beginnings...... new successes..

can someone please tell me what chicken Kiev is actually SUPPOSED to be like. I cooked two (naturally I didn't look up the recipe on here!) and ate one, the other is for work tomorrow. It was very dry, but I always find breast dry. But surely the cheesy garlicky stuff should melt through and make it tasty and juicy? Well it didn't, it was just sitting there all claggy in the middle. I used quark, was that wrong? Just out of interest. Muchos thankos.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!
