I can't believe how long it's taken me to catch up with this thread, Some great ideas on here. Well done on reaching target takeiteasy, fab weightloss Mrsm sorry to hear about your ....ahem, troubles dizzy, but I know the feeling.
Had a nice day out yesterday, lovely long walk along the beach, had a carvery lunch out so piled on the meat and veggies, yummy. Only extra syns I had was a Feast lolly, so just need to check syn value on that, but all in all a fun day where I, hopefully, didn't do too much damage.
Feeling a bit out of sorts today, can't quite put my finger on what prob is, feel a bit achey, no energy, headache etc. I hope it's just a short lived thing though.

Just checked the feast, it was 14 syns, so not too bad I suppose

    :D:D:D:D MORNING!!!!!

hope I didnt wake you heehee.:rotfl:
I appear to have fallen asleep on you all last night :o oops how very rude!

Thanks Blackberry rum for your tips on the slow cooker use....my main prob is my apartment is a silly new build ,modern living open plan thing so my 'kitchen zone' is rather small and work space for leaving a slow cooker out is zero :(.......the trade off is worth it tho for the big balcony where Ive room for a table, few chairs &bbq, some tom plants and herbs and views right over the valley and ive no stairs to negotiate. So I'l just have to drool over your ideas instead :D:D

didn't wake me, I was up at 7 and had cleared two wardrobes and two chests of drawers by 9, having tried EVERYTHING on and rejected half as TOO BIG!!!! 3 Ikea bags to the charity shop.

You can't boast to me about how little space you have, I live in a one-bedroom flat with four pushy cats. I keep the slow cooker under an Ikea Poang chair (they are great for storing things under :D ) and the halogen stove is stored in the bedroom. I just heave 'em out when I need them and count is as calories burned. You can leave the slow cooker on the floor to cook as long as it's not likely to be tripped over, I've done that before now. (off to read the next seventeen pages now, then I will confess that I've just eaten a pack of Quorn savoury eggs assuming they were free. They aren't . First rule of SW, check the syns before you nosh)

Any quick suggestions what I can do with 4 chicken breast.

I'm lacking sooo many ingredients I cant do what I normally do.
No mustard or ham to wrap with.
No bacon or feta cheese to stuff and wrap with.
No soy sauce to marinade in....

Payday on tuesday so my cupboards are pretty empty ... any suggestions welcome....

Why not just casserole them? Dry fry or microfry some onions and garlic, few fresh herbs thrown in if you have them, then add the chicken breasts and either a little stock (stock cube) or some tinned chopped tomatoes and cook them that way. I'm kind of winging it as chicken breasts are the bit I give to the cats, I prefer the darker meat. Also as you know my cooking is mostly microwave cooking (a chicken thigh takes 3.5-4 mins in the m'wave if ever ur in a hurry!).

Having said that, I just for the first ever time bought 4 chicken breast fillets so I can try that chicken kiev recipe, I've never had chicken kiev (probably BECAUSE it's made from breast). I've mixed up quark, fresh herbs and garlic & its sitting in the fridge until I feel like stuffing 2of them. The other two will be a major experiment involving egg white. Will let you know later in the week if it works. :p

If the breasts still have the skin on why not grill them, you can take the skin off before you eat yours.

Just sprinkle some spices on them and stick them on the Foreman grill (if you have one)
    chop and stir fry them
chicken casserole with frozen or fresh veg, onion,
make chicken nuggets with some HEB bread, or ryvita for crumbs and SW wedges or chips

I have just had my first ever fresh tuna steak (always had tinned before) with a salad and it was quite nice, shame they are so expensive, I could have eaten two easily though.

I just made (a sort of) Chicken Jalfrezi from the Curry Feast book with mine. If you have an onion, some spices and tinned toms you could make a "sort of" curry with them :)

I had to use the dregs of my frozen peppers, some frozen spinach, a clove of garlic i found, a tin of toms and the spices i happened to have in my cupboard. It tasted quite nice actually..

i had it with "sag aloo" (pots from allotment and frozen spinach with the second half of my can of toms and some spices) and i didn't have enough spices for HM pilau so had the bag of boil in the bag basmati rice i happened to have in the cupboard..

I know exactly what its like when there's no food in..i'm struggling for meals until next saturday when i do my big shop. I am being all MSE and using up the food i do have before i buy anything else!
