Has anyone tried the SW Ferrero Rochers??? I've not tried scan bran so I'm scared of it as it seems to be a love it or hate it item... will it ruin perfectly good nutella???

Ferrero Rocher alternative: Crumble 8 Scan Bran into a bowl and mix in 1 tbsp water, 4 level tbsp Nutella and 1 level tbsp syrup. Divide into little bun cases and leave in the fridge to set. Makes 20 delicious treats for just 1 Syn each!

I haven't tried them but I have used the scan bran as a crunchy outer coating for my scotch eggs, I know that is not the same but I can report that they just add an extra crunch like breadcrumbs and don't have much in the way of flavour. If you bash them really small with a rolling pin (or tin) then they go to a fine powder then you can roll sticky things in it

Which other ones would you all recommend?

I got an extra easy one from class that was about £5 and it is really good, so many different things on offer. Like consultant said the extra easy is more like the way people 'normally eat' so you can translate your everyday eating into SW without it seeming like you are deprived, it covers all sorts, chicken, fish, veggies...

I am having the breakfast couscous with banana and melon, interesting!

    Morning all

mumoftwo i use my diary to write all my food down, i have recorded my measurements, weight in pounds and stones and i can keep track of my weight losses too and there is just enough room to add anything we are doing (if i write small) but it is an amazing way of making sure you dont cheat, i definately do better when i write everything down than if i dont

They sell them in Holland and barrett Shaz.

I took one look at the price and then decided against it.

Personally, Id rather have the half a dime bar or something else.

Im in a bad mood today () I hope it shifts. Its amazing how much I want to eat biscuits and chocolate although I don't have any in the house so thats OK but the emotional demand for eating is pretty great. I could rugby tackle someoone for a snickers right now

Helllllo to the newbies and well done on the losses :j

I seem to be listing all my food in triplicate :rotfl:
I do it first using my SW on-line diary, then I do a proper meal plan over on minimins and THEN I copy it over here :o... ok -so its a bit "overkill" -but it keeps me in line :p

Mumoftwo- I did get quite a few of the books and my fave is the "world of flavours" a hard backed one, so far -everything I have done out of there has been gorgeous :T

whilst I remember -someone pointed out over on minimins that for the fish pie recipe I posted -IF you are doing red days then you need to leave the skins on the potatoes for it to count as a heB :o-luckily I ate mine as I peeled them :rotfl:-just so I don't mess up your plans :D
oh and when hubby had his fish pie last night -he loved it so much he has asked for it again -and he doesn't normally like fish pie :j

well my meal plan for today is looking like this:-

    • gherkin
    • melon
    • 250ml semi (A)

    • 56g rice (cooked weight) (4)
    • 1/4tsp oil (0.5)

    • peppers
    • mushrooms
    • spring onions
    • carrot

    • roast chicken
    • 250ml semi (A)

Sorry shaz, I meant the scan bran

You might be able to pick the books off ebay, or amazon but they tend to be more expensive than buying them in class.

I think I'd be in danger of not stopping at a couple... maybe I'll give it a miss and stick to skinny cow ice-cream lolly as then I feel like I've had a massive treat instead of one little chocolate.... with 19 more of the little blighters sitting in the fridge tempting me...

Yeah i had a look on amazon and they were £9/£10 each  so im hoping to find them somewhere cheaper, i hadnt thought about ebay so i will look there just to see. It might work out cheaper to join and buy them on the first night but i will have to look into that first
