    Hi all,

I hope I'm doing things right, been a tough this week with our weekend away, plus for some reason today I feel quite bloated.

Tuesday: breakfast - weetabix & mullerlight, lunch - jacket spud with baked beans, quorn sausages and salad, dinner - pasta with home made tomato sauce (onions, mushrooms and tinned tomatoes and quorn pieces) yet more salad and mixed berries

Wednesday: breakfast - quorn burgers, fried eggs (in frylight) and mushrooms, lunch - weetabix and mullerlight, dinner - left over pasta and blueberries

Today: breakfast - weetabix....yet again, I know I should have something different.

I dont know about the rest of the day yet....

Does the above look ok? I would eat more fruit but it's not quite pay day yet and I dont have a lot of spare cash for a few days

    Thanks all

    Morning all,

I have had a good couple of days & thought i would update you with food i have tried!

Rolos that have been in the freezer last forever!

The vege scotch eggs (smash & couscous) are gorgeous - i put mustard powder in the smash to give it an extra kick! I think i need to make the smash a little drier next time as they 'sank' a bit in the oven - was a little perplexed with using dry couscous but once done in the oven & put into a container whilst still warm - it wasn't that hard! IYKWIM!

Mushy Pea curry is my fav at the moment - can't get enough of the stuff - cheap to make - but not cheap with toilet roll! lol

I use pudding rice for my brekkies at the moment - with banana & ff yogurt - keeps me full until lunchtime!

I need to keep away from raspberries atm - they keep giving me heartburn! Don't know why!

Liz3yy - did you know that quorn burgers aren't free any more? they are 1/2 syn each - just incase you demolished the whole box (i know i would! But tesco meatfree are better!)

Quorn Sausages are £1 at tesco atm (frozen) and they are doing 2 for £3 on tesco meatfree products (frozen)

Any other ideas for green day speed food recipes? I need a bit of variety i think!

    Well done to everyone x

    Potatoes
    Butter 4 syns
    Gravy granules 2 syns

Me too.. all I tend to come up with is veg chilli/curry or pasta

I am soooooo bored today... I have nothing to do and no money to go to the shops... payday tomorrow :)

I might pick out an old Jilly Cooper and read about Rupert Campbell Black and his naughty ways:D

If you have some eggs, smash and couscous i recommend you try the scotch eggs! Gorgeous!

Most of the things i make tend to be a veg pasta or curry - was thinking of a quorn lasange for tea - anyone know a recipe? i am struggling with the cheesey sauce (don't like using my syns in cooking! Much prefer frozen rolos :rotfl:)

They sell them in Holland and barrett Shaz.

I took one look at the price and then decided against it.

Personally, Id rather have the half a dime bar or something else.

Im in a bad mood today () I hope it shifts. Its amazing how much I want to eat biscuits and chocolate although I don't have any in the house so thats OK but the emotional demand for eating is pretty great. I could rugby tackle someoone for a snickers right now

    :D

Id rather eat a cardboard box than scan bran.......tastes pretty similar too!!!!

AWWW sorry to hear your feeling in a baaaaad mood Lynz  dont suppose the Hob dilemma is helping much??
You could always watch me trying to do my new physio routine.....now that would make you laugh......I look like ive just been thrown out of the pub :rotfl: pity I have to crawl to the bog for the next half hour tho til the room stops moving after each session :o

Ive used Quark mixed with some fromage frais and a 3 or 4 eggs (depending on size of dish) & season to taste for my topping it comes out lovely and cheesy....just not quite as runny as normal lasagne would;)
