we have a newish consultant, i'm not keen on the style of the group now. she has never reached target, but is still a member of SW.she is allways asking advice from the people who have been at group for a while. saying xx how do you deal with that? trouble is I want to know how she would deal with it, thats i pay for. I do find she asks myself and another lady (whos lost a lot of weight) what we are doing, then asking for our meal plans so she can do them, as we are doing so well. I DONT WANT TO BE A CONSULTANT! thats why i sit here, you stand there! Im trying a new group next week. see if its any different. At last I have a signature.0

For those not joining a class, I don't go either (because there isn't one) and I find this forum and my new friends even more invaluable. There is no way I would have stuck to it this long without them all.

Has anyone tried the SW Ferrero Rochers??? I've not tried scan bran so I'm scared of it as it seems to be a love it or hate it item... will it ruin perfectly good nutella???
Ferrero Rocher alternative: Crumble 8 Scan Bran into a bowl and mix in 1 tbsp water, 4 level tbsp Nutella and 1 level tbsp syrup. Divide into little bun cases and leave in the fridge to set. Good morning. I feel positive and full of good intentions :A but I am always like that in the beginning, it is endurance I need for long term success, but I think that with EE it could be done, not too much weighing etc.
I did buy some recipe books last night just in case I wasn't going back to class: 100 saucy secrets and curry heaven.
Which other ones would you all recommend? Mrs Mac, you did buy quite a few didn't you?
Poor consultant was a bit harassed last night, it was her first night back after her holiday and the PDA thingy broke, resulting her having to make phone calls and rushing through our beginners talk. We were there for 2 hours.
Do you all write your "logs" every day, write down everything you eat? Do you get new logs at class every week or do you use a notebook?0 -

Personally I write everything down as I have a tendency to forget, then wonder why I've not lost anything. I have a reporter type notebook and I use it to plan a few days in advance too - this does mean there is a lot of scribble as I change my mind:D"People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0 -
Im so proud of myself , a friend bought me a bottle of wine when she popped round , and its a red one that i love , BUT i did say i was not going to drink for a couple of weeks ,
her son is 18 in two weeks , so a glass of champers will be that more appreciated on his birthday and make it a bit special .
said bottle of wine hasnt been opened at all !!!
i find i get the nibbles when i drink so thats the reason !!
100% still on plan !!The original janiebaby0 -

I guess I could always spare 5 syns for a chicken in oyster sauce and boiled rice from the chinese but I am skint at the moment and I dont think spending money wildly is going to help. Boooooooat being broke
Can you make pasta and sauce with boiling water?
(clutches at straws)
NIght susan
pasta is easy enough to make with just boiling water. Just cover the pasta with water, put a tight lid on, and leave it until it's cooked. About 5 - 7 mins I think for dried pasta. Dried noodles are much faster to do this way. You can do rice this way if you are patient too, it takes about 20 mins (use exactly 1.5 times as much boiling water as rice). As for a sauce, once the pasta is really hot you can stir in some beaten egg to coat it, lots of black pepper, syn some parmesan or other cheese, (syn a bit of olive oil if you want). You could chop some cooked or tinned ham in, or some olives (syns), capers, do some tomato slices and mushroom slices on your Forman grill ..... just eat it fast before it goes cold! My mouth's watering.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!
