I can't believe I am STILL feeling bloated and yukkkkkkkk, had a sneaky weigh [I know, I know. Slaps hand] and its looking like a gain but am hoping its to do with the IBS.
Its amazing how many people are on here now, I go to put the kettle on and come back to another page to catch up ongreat for motivation though.
I write EVERYTHING down in my note book and get quite obsessed about it really. I have been doing sw at home this time around and have managed to stick to it without the need to go to class [can't afford that anyway]. This forum helps just as well as a class so THANK YOU EVERYONE xxxxxxxxxxxxIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Whilst I remember, don;t know if this has been mentioned before but if any of you have costco membership they have a catering pack of the AH couscous - for about £6-8. It some with a little scopp for measuring out indivdual portions and I vaguely remember it having 50 portions in (but I'm at work now so I can't actually check that until I get home)0

sorry to read your suffering with IBS....cant be easy when you're trying to follow the plan. Im suffering with my tum but its a suspect hiatus hernia from vertigo side effects (too mmuch throwing up) so eating is hard word some days. I can handle a gain or sts from being a pig - but it doesnt seem fair when you've not been able to eat much  rant over :rotfl:

Hello
Could I join your group please?? I have been doing SW for just over 4 weeks but doing it from home so would be great to get some support from here! I have been stalking aroud for a while and you seem such a lovely bunch, I thought that joining in might help keep me motivated!
I met my OH 6 years ago as a slim, petite thing now after far too many home cooked rich meals and bottles of wine I have piled on the (ahem) stones!! Feel rather depressed wth myself that I have let it get so bad, but I finally took the step of doing something about it and managed 1st, 1 and1/4lb loss in 4 weeks, got a lot further to go though.
I'm loving the SW meals at the moment, doing EE which seems to be working well for me, loving the meals and flexibility of it (Morrocan lamb & veg tagine for tea last night which was gorgeous, definitely not 'diet' food!)
Anyway that's enough rambling from me, i am going to start posting my food diarys on here so if anyone sees I am doing something wrong please let me know and if I keep waffling on tell me to shut upSW started 28.06.10 - 4, -7.5, -1.5, -2.5, -1, -1and 1/4, -3, +3.5, -2.50 -
Hello Niandra  Always room for another one in here
The tagine sounds lovely :beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Hello Niandra, I just joined here and SW class last night, you have done well, already lost over a stone! Can't wait to see your meal plans for inspiration.0

I feel for you... My OH has been diagnosed with this too. He originally thought it was his asthma affecting his breathing but it was the hernia (after what seemed like hundreds of tests). Luckily it's not severe but it really affects his eating. He finds eating too much sets it off even with the tablets he's taking. He gets really down with it. He wants the op that can be done but the Dr's are saying they don't do it anymore!"People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0 -

Snap again... I was slim wearing size 10 jeans prancing about all confident 6 years ago when I met OH.... now skulking around all wobbly and feeling frumpy.... but together we will be back to our original selves :T:T"People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0
