some concoction I've made up... it is supposed to be slow roasted pork chops in a tomatoey sauce... just looked at it and it doesn't look great... but it's got another hour or 2 to go yet so should be edible. Having it with a ton of veggie and maybe rice"People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0 -
WI day for me tomorrow and I have high hopes apart from being hijacked by a chicken kebab on Saturday I've been really good ( well as good as it gets for me!) Well done all you ladies seem to be doing really well, I'd just like to say thanks, I'm finding this thread a really valuable form of support, I love the friendly banter and I appreciate the help. I'm just hoping I have a good loss this week to keep me on the straight and narrow. When Life Throws You Lemons Make Lemonade0

I am feeling very disillusioned
I have been trying to stick to the plan and mostly have been, I had a bad week last week, ate a lot of pastry (flipping sausage rolls and pork pies, why are they so tasty?!!) and put on 1.5 and this week is * week so I haven't lost any and I don't want to go and not have lost anything. Someone give me a slap and tell me to grow up eh?God is good, all the time

SLAP SLAP
I think weve all been there  but if you dont go this week....then thats when the slippery slope starts and you risk eating rubbish all week and probably not going next week? Just bite the bullet and go.....we have a saying at our group "theres no shame in a gain!"0 -

no slap needed, draw that line, get back on plan! you'll hear the same old same old from me girl, life is too serious to stress about a little pastry, was it good? are you over it? imagine the pastry as those 'bad boys' you used to date, great fun at the time, but only a short term thang
now you need steady dependable SW to help you back to who you really want to be....... skinny jeans skinny jeans, whats your long term goal? can you guess mine?
my washer is making a hell of a noise! if there are no more posts from me ever you know i've either been abducted by aliens, else the washer blew up0 -

WOAH!!! Steady on there, stop beating yourself up. Ok if you haven't had a loss this week it's not the end of the world. You might have a pleasant surprise awaiting you, you've convinced yourself it's going to be bad news but even a STS isn't exactly a disaster. Some people always, always have a gain * week so calm down. Not gonna give you a slap or tell you to grow up, just going to say whatever happens loss, STS or gain it's happened and there will be a way to deal with it.When Life Throws You Lemons Make Lemonade0 -
Thanks ladies
I have been trying to be good at work, no biscuits have passed my lips and I even turned down carrot cake and cream cheese icing and have had lots of mullers and salad instead. I have been letting myself have a treat every day at the end of the day so I store my syns up, last night was a Wispa, so delicious! I just want to have something to show for it! I will go to class but not stay for the meeting bit, I don't like having it all read out around the circle and having to say how I did it, makes me squirm! I have said I will do the scales now though so I have to go, even if I don't want to!God is good, all the time
