I've had a good day although I had to rush out early and so only had coffee for breakfast. Lunch was pasta, veg and then yoghurt for dessert. For dinner I did a chicken/courgette/tomato dish, couscous and spinach. I did cook the chicken in some wine - do I need to syn that?Trying to keep in budget.

WOW! Well done!
Its my WI tomorrow. Not sure how I have done - I've been mega good all week, but although I've had a sneaky step on the scales (I know) I don't seem to have lost much.
But, on the plus side, I'm now 8 weeks in and I measured myself today - I have lost 1" off my bust, 2" off my hips and an amazing 3" off my waist! So I am well pleased!
Am just hoping I'll get my 1/2 stone award tomorrow!
I am going on holiday on 6th August, and I so want to lose another 7lb by then, although that's not very likely as the weight tends to come off 1lb at a time with me.
Oh well, onwards and downwards :-)I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -
well done everyone on your losses and good luck everyone weighing in this week - I am avoiding WI this week and going to try super hard to see a loss next week. Sticking with SW to the letter this week and going to hit the gym a lot more.
Tomorrow is Green:
Brek: Strawberries and total 0%
Beans on toast (heb)
Lunch: salad with low fat feta (1/2 hea)
Dinner: vege chilli with mini baked potatoes
Snacks: cups of tea (with 1/2 hea milk)
3 Ryvita with 3 laughin cow light triangles (not sure how many triangles makes 1 hea, the ryvita will be heb)
Pineapple
Mullerlight

I had scan bran with quark/blue cheese for breakfast, topped with some heated baked beans. IT WAS NICE. Am going to experiment more with hot foods on scan bran, it may be easier to chomp.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

Morning ladies. I went for my riding lesson last night and it was brilliant however I now have achey legs and arms and rather sore seat bones !!!!! It's got to be a sign it did me good though! WI tomorrow and I can't wait although it should be TOTM so slightly worried!
On the subject of bread and bloating...I have the same problem but only with shop bought bread (except pitta bread so maybe try those?). I've done some research and it's apparently due to the fact that bread should be 'slow' food but all the manufacturers amke it very quickly and don't allow the yeast/dough time to ferment. If you try making your own bread and allowing it to rise slowly for a long time you'll probably find you're ok with it...I am anyway!
Here's my plan for today but there's nothing in for tea as we're going to OH's parents so it could be anything and is unlikely to be as healthy/SW friendly as anything I would do myself but hopefully she'll have me some fruit for pudding as she knows I'm 'trying to be good' lol!
Brekkie - Porridge (HEA&B), banana
Lunch - salad, new pots, salad cream (1), fat free dressing, yogurt.
Snacks - strawbs and rasps, nectarine, plums.
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Mmm....stawberries + total 0% + seeds = the best summer brekkie ever! (synned the seeds tho)Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....
