    I've been Money Tipped!
She fell at the age of 13 months whilst running about outside. She fell onto something in th garden and knocked 2 bottom teeth loose.

We managed to get her an appointment at the dentist the next day and they said she'd need a check up in 6 weeks and they'd get us on the waiting list...the list be really long as we've been waiting since Jan 09

i would be going back to the dentist to try and sort this - are they still loose, do they hurt her? Was it after this injury that her eating habits get worse or was she like this from weaning?

I would ensure there was no medical / dentistry reason for her eating before assuming she is just fussy

I hope you get it sorted :D

Quorn is a good idea, the effect quorn mince has on my digestive system isn't repeatable, so it may help in that area as well.
I'd try it instead of the sausage meat.
It is a different taste and texture, maybe mixing the two may work.

i had this with my son when he was about 3 (he's now 5). the worst thing was at his nursery he'd woolf down anything put in front of him. so this was what i used to do....

give his dinner, if he refuses to eat it he'd be sent straight to bed. leave him for a very short time, usually he'd come down and eat it. if he was still being obstinate i'd cling film the dinner and son would go up to bed for longer.....i'd offer it to him later, and if he was still being difficult he'd get toast and would be sent to bed.

other things i tried to do was give foods special names, like lasagne became 'pasta-cake'. (he likes pasta and cake.......you get where i'm going)

i wouldnt say he's perfect, but he's getting better all the time and willing to give new foods a try.

No they hardened into in the gum like the dentist said they would but they're a bit squint now!!

She has always refused food so it's not a recent thing.

    Well...

She got up about half 7 but didn't mention food until about 9ish.

She sat down at the table and I gave her a yoghurt...she ate 2 spoonfulls and has had nothing since.

When it got to about half 12, we made a sandwich and used cookie cutters to make it into shapes (she picked a teddy bear and a rectangle) - but she didn't eat it and has been asking for buttons and cookies for nearly an hour.

I normally would have given willie winkies and a cookie as a reward for eating the willie winkies.

You've started the day well, keep it up.
Try to make the willie winkies the reward, maybe for eating one of the teddy bear shapes, with a bit of butter on it. Or half a cookie and some custard as the reward, but put a change in to break the routine.
Don't get into a fight over it though, after such a positive start to the day. But don't back down either.
