Eric - 23 stone, brill result there mate, what's the next target?

23lbs - I will just be obese, rather than super super morbidly obese

then another 31lbs takes me to my yearly goal of 198.4 lbs and 19st 13lbs

I've blown it a bit today: a new 24 hour subway has opened up very nearby and I do love subs. I get the most healthy version i can think of: turkey, no cheese, and loads of salad... but it's still not on the planner so i shouldnt be having it. Maybe next week i'll make an allowance for having one. Ah well hopefully will have a better day tomorrow :-)

Subway is probably the only fast food chain (can you call them fast food) where you can get healthy (ish) meals, Jared Fogle lost 245lbs on a diet he created solely on subway food.

I find that really strange as I find subway to be really overly processed and sickly. Maybe it's just me but the bread is always dry on the outside and stodgy on the inside (flash frozen then reheated) the meats is all pale and then they insist on covering it in full fat mayo! (i know you can ask for healthier options, but even when I say just a tiny bit of sauce they put loads on. and they tend to put cheese in without me asking/noticing). Overall I find it a bit gross. But hey that's just me, most people consider a doner kebab disgusting but i love 'em!! (pitta is much nicer than that processed subway bread!)

    Anyway, random ramble/rant over!

Food plan is totally out of the window this week - we're moving house soon so everything is being packed up in boxes and we need to eat what we have to limit the amount of cold stuff we move with us (ie lots of peas and sweetcorn to be eaten with every meal!!!):rotfl:

also means a lot of takeaways and restaurants as we dont really feel like cooking / eating at home since it's such a mess!

Had a lovely bank holiday weekend tho, really relaxed. I also have a cold coming on so can empathise with you other snifflers out there. Was awake half the night with a runny nose :(

never been in one but there online UK menu does appear to have healthy options, its certainly better than 99% of the connivance options ;)

i know they will scope out the stodgy bit of the roll for you as well if you ask

a chicken donna kebab is not a bad option, dont scoff all the pita if its a large one thou

True, it's better than a big mac or kfc anyday, plus you can get loads of salad on it which is nice.

    ooh never knew that!

  • Hi everyone

Back to trying to loose more weight again now after a few weeks of coasting. Was away at the weekend and people cannot believe that I don't eat stodgy burgers, sausages, and other processed BBQ food, white bread, chips etc ..... But to me it is not normal any more. My OH makes lovely homemade Turkey burgers with rosemary and Chilli's and they BBQ a treat. I just wrap it in an iceberg lettuce leaf and i'm happy with that and some cous cous (well you are a little limited in a campervan :rotfl:)

Also the No booze thing really works, I used to go away on these weekends and easily drink 8 can's cider in an evening now I just stick to pepsi max or diet lemonade and watch everyone else make a fool of themselves safe in the knowledge I have not piled 1000's of unnecessary calories into my body :A

My plan over the next month is to have a re Jiggle of my exercise as I think I need to do some toning exercise as I have the horrid excess skin problem and bingo wings any granny would be proud of :( Also to try and get as much surfing/ Kayaking in until it is too cold to go anymore.
Can anyone recommend a good tummy toning DVD/ Exercise rountine thingy I could consider?

Belated Birthday wishes to BB and Beanie I hope you had nice days

Sending vibes Mazza hope things go well with DD

Eric well done on the massive goal :T I know you will make your yearly target as we won't let you give up

Puddings If you allow the calories in your allowance you can treat yourself to a subway ;) it's better for you than cake :rotfl:

Good luck everyone with weigh in's tomorrow

    Have a good day x

i don't look anything like that now tbh, hence i can post the pic as i don't recognise that person

it was a !!!!ing shock thou when we found it, was like being kicked in the nadgers for 4 hours straight, still cant get over it ...

the one good thing im down to the size now that as i loose more weight it becomes more and more noticeable every week, so the next 50lb will make a massive difference, probably more than the first 150lb

areas of circles and all that
