Have lost 0.4 kg this week.

Thought I'd never get below 75 kg, but this morning, 74.8 kg. Woooh-hoooh! Was 75.2 kg this time last week.

Hi Kayels. I'm looking forward to reading how you get on, so keep us posted and don't be shy, [STRIKE]if[/STRIKE] when you have a loss to tell us all about, then please post it big and colourful for us all to share :-)
There are folk on here doing slimming world, weightwatchers, counting calories and a load of other ways too. Do you have a plan in mind yet for how you're going to do this?
If you think it will help then "Good luck!" In my opinion though you make your own luck (by staying out of the cake tin and staying out of breath!)

feeling a bit rubbish but determined still. wont let my greediness beat me! Had an ok day yesterday apart form a few biscuits.
got a slow work day today so might pop to the shop and buy some fruit to help me stick to Sw a bit better.

hopefully i'll see a loss next week.

well done all the losers :)

    1lb loss.

Oh well, it's kinda what I expected.

As no housework was done in here last weekend, I decided to gut the kitchen and living room yesterday, added bonus, done the bathroom and most of bedroom too before I was knackered.

Up this morning, took the wee one to school and went back to bed. 3pm and I've only just got back up. This sleeping all the time is doing my head in
    4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j

Sary Thanks you for asking - my hip/legs are pretty rubbish at the moment and that is stopping me walking as much as I usually would. I know that losing weight would help with the pains but even that doesn't seem to be enough to stop me eating. In fact I'll go for a biscuit because I feel sorry for myself --- how ridiculous is that? :o:o

I'm trying to remember what I did when I originally lost the 4 stone (2 of which have now gone back on). Obsessive recording of everything I ate was part of it - but I can't currently be bothered to be obsessive. I think not buying things I know I don't need to eat is probably the answer, in the short term at least.

No immediate prospect of work slowing down either. Other than that, all is well. DD has separated from her OH - the best decision in the long term but a bit :eek: in the short term for them and DGD.

Beanie - 6lb in 5 weeks would be about my rate of gain too --- but I've kept on for longer. I hope you're more successful at calling a halt than I have been so far.

    Granny~Are we twins?
I know very well (supported by the neurologist) that loosing weight will help my mobility but I just cannot get into the mindset I need to be in.Sorry to hear you are not moving about as much as you would like.I am with you on the writing things down & not buying the blooming unhealthy stuff in the first place.
Sorry to hear about your DD but as you say will be best for them in the long run.
Take care & be kind to yourself xxx

Hello, im new to the forum ^^
However i am not new to tackling losing weight or at the very least SSW!!
Im a short 5ft 1 and weigh approximately 121 pounds.

My main problem is my weight distribution, i think i look extremely 'dumpy' as i have a petite hourglass figure of inches 38-28-36
Id love to get rid of the belly tyre and the thigh flab, i would like to aim to fit neatly in size 8 bottoms, it may seem small but its probabaly what my natural frame size is, at the moment im a largish size 10.

Im trying to regulate what i eat and aim for the healthier options, however im going to university this september and dont want to pile on the pounds :(
Also im terrible at doing any type of physical activity, i really do need to do more but sit-ups get very boring very quickly!

Anyway, looking forward to hear everyone elses progress!

    xx
