Replaced the battery in the scales and they seem to be more or less accurate again. Used my wee man as bait. I refuse to step on them until I need to (tomorrow morning):rotfl:

Feel really yucky, think it's the antibiotics and the codeine tho. Stopped the codeine and using plain old paracetamol for the pain. Cos codeine leaves me all bunged up, so not really expecting a loss this week. However maybe my 2 days of not eating and constant sweating might surprise me :)

Some great losses coming in this week, wtg guys. All helps in the 5lbs a month challenge :D

yee haa - -5lbs this week - such a good week after all.

Cleared the 5 stone mark now so allowing myself a week off next week and heading away to donegal for a week of walking and chilling out

Well done!!! :T enjoy your week off :)

Big hugs BB, hope you're ok xx

Welcome, Schrodingers Cat. Are you a scientist or just a fan of the 'big bang theory'? ;) hope you find the thread a help, 1500 cals does sound awfully low for a 6ft man, but i'm sure eric and puds can offer some sound and manly advice.

vix I love beyonce too - good role model as she is not super skinny and has womanly curves.

Eric - i am not surprised the big soup made you feel bad, they are so salty aren't they?! I can't bear tinned soup.

Well, had a bit of a lightbulb moment again last night (seem to have these after weekends of binges, perhaps fatty food duels my lightbulb?? lol) and realised that I'm doing myself no favours by eating rubbish especially when I dont even feel good about it or enjoy it properly.

So i'm sticking to a plan today and for the rest of the week since i'm not going out for any more meals I can stick to what i know is good for me and 'detox' all the junk out my system.A I'll still weigh in tomorrow but i wont have lost anything - also its totm soon so that's going to mess me up too - but hopefully can do good all week and see a loss next weds.
And Fingers crossed i can avoid sweets/biscuits/cake at the family do on sunday.

okay guys im registered a STS :(

i put a pound on then lost it again?!

So im on a blank page i guess.. I need to lose a stone to achieve my next target. I've still been calorie counting but not been as rigidly careful with my food, so im going to knuckle down for the next couple of weeks and up my exercise regime.

I have been a bit slack with the sit tight too, so ive started to use that again today too. i did see some improvement, but i don't think i would buy another until ive lost more weight, as my legs are quite chunky and it doesn't go very far.

i finally got my flat tyre fixed, but the weather has been horrific, itching to get back on my bike to cycle to work regularly.

Planning some painting this weekend so that should be good on my arms..

hope all are well, any motivation going spare? please send it my way!

After carrying a spare tyre round my waist for so long, I'd love to have a flat instead!

the creation of the protibix for breakfast has saved me £25 a week as well
Blimey! you saved £25 just on breakfast? what were you having for breakfast before protibix then ?!!
My typical food spend for the week is not much more than £25!

200g of turkey breast, from the deli counter, cost about £30 a week... cant stand the normal injected crap

im on about £6 a day now, 3 protibix costs me 76p :)

our weekly shop is about £100, but that includes all toiletries, cleaning products, cat food and all food and drink, we have no costs from the pub, restaurants, take aways lunch work etc

if you like turkey for breakfast, couldn't you buy a whole one (or a chicken), cook it, slice it up and have some each day? would be cheaper surely, and then you can also use cut offs in curries, stir fries etc?
