Still no weigh in here (and no exercise must get backside in gear in the morning). Am following WW well but had a little blip whilst at my sister's over the weekend. But only a litttle one, usually I would go mad with treats - the off piste bits were some birthday cake, an ice cream and some popcorn. I think I have been a little mean with my points over the past week so hopefully not too bad. The cake was chocolate so back to zero there again.
  • Hi everyone,
so many of you that I would like to respond through, all going through a lot, be it weight related or not. My true apologies for not responding individually at the present but I am reading everyday.

I am ok, but I am not terribly well as well as conserving my energy for seeing my mum in hosptial over an hr away and dealing with shifting family dynamics with ageing parents.

1lb on for me please fred
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Welcome Kayels and SmallL. Good luck, and join in here for maximum benefit.

Granny - sorry to hear about your DD, but if it's a change for the better for her and DGD, then it can only be a good thing. Separations in families aren't easy to contend with, but I'm sure it will all work out fine in the end. What is the prognosis for your hip/leg? Is it just a healing thing, or will you have to face some kind of treatment for it? My neighbour, who is retired, has been suffering with a painful ankle for years, but it's finally got to a point where she has had to go to the Dr/specialist, and has been offered a replacement joint, but she's really not happy about the prospect. She's very active, cycles everywhere, potters in her lovely garden most days, and likes to socialise quite a bit, so is quite put off at being invalided by surgery, and recovery. I must admit, I'd be the same. The only positive thing she sees is that if she has it done, if she recovers well she can go back to line dancing again!

Victory - welcome home hun, and I hope work goes OK this week.

Well it was a STS for me again this week. Better that than a gain I guess.

Beanie - are we twins also? What with nagging knees, and my youngest also goes into Year 6 when the next term starts in Sept. I have no idea where the time went, but it's been pretty action packed from my end, how about your's?

Well done on the losses, and Margaretclare - at last! You're in the 74kgs again, what a relief.

I'll keep it short n' sweet tonight, to make it easier for fred to go through the posts.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

    Hey all,

I've been on my hols for the best part of the last 3 weeks, and I've been eating anything I want but keeping up plenty of exercise - I know I've gained though, so I'll be joining those with a bit of holiday weight to lose! :D As soon as I get home I'll see what the damage is and get straight back into weight loss mode! Is it weird to be looking forward to controlling my eating again?!

Congratulations to our joint SoTW Puddings and Neilersmc :j:j

Well done to all our losers and stsers this week - especially Alliwantistosave, Mommychaos and Puddings who have reached the 5lb target :T:T.

Special hugs to all who need then this week - there are several who do.

Thanks Fredsnail. Wow, some fantastic losses there, especially slimmers of the week. :j :j :j

I'm going to be a coward, and wait until next week to weigh myself. I can't face seeing a gain on the scales, and I haven't been eating well or exercising properly over the last week or two. :(:o

New start, and effort, for me today. :)

HUgs from me as well to anyone having a rough time, or feeling in need of them. Have a good day all.
