Morning folks, I popped in to see how everyone was doing, thanks for all the well wishes. We're just about holding it together at the mo (well apart from the insomnia hence me having been up catching up with you guys since 3am!)
I am happy to report though that my weight has remained stable throughout all the trauma, despite that bar of Cadburys "Bar of Plenty" being eaten!!
The actifry is getting well used too, when we're home, I love being able to mix herbs and spices in with the oil for a different twist to the sweet pot wedges we are all so fond of. Even DD is eating a bit more, her happy stars come out a funny shape but taste much better...maybe it's all in the shape??
Glad to hear you being more chirpy Eric. Keeping us all sane in a world going crazy.
Back soon (I hope!)You never know how strong you are until you have no other option.0 -
So great to hear from you fellpony. xx And I am glad that amid the stress your weight isn't adding to it. Lovely to imagine your daughter tucking into wedges.
Well day 1 of SW didn't go so well as I am not well;not sure what my immune system is doing at the mo, due to meds but I feel rubbish and just have to have buttery toast with honey at regular intervals. A flobalobalob on the sofa day.
Mazza - in an ideal world,as we are clearly twins, I would suggest some mutual challenge support thingy, but ....nah, haven't the energy:o.
Still, forced me to do my first online shop for several years and it feel great that it's arriving this afternoon rather than us going to it.
Alliwant - great to hear your much deserved pleasure in clothes shopping. I have heard how actually it can take a while for your brain to catch up with the fact you have lost a lot of weight and to pick up the right size from the rail.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

I couldn't afford to take the time of work, and I wouldn't do the UK one anyway, I would do the Auzzie one, I would be in a good position to win as I now at the optimum weight for about 50% loss and I have been training for some time
Whoops - i meant to say that to puddings, he was the one that applied lol
Anyways, WW weigh day for me again today and pleased to say that i have lost 2lbs, despite me being naughty! I also FINALLY did some exercise yesterday, woohoo! 30mins low intensity step, my legs are killing me today, it has been a while since they have worked liked that.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend
L xI got ham but i'm not a hamster.....0 -
Nice to see you fellpony, hope everything is going as well as it can be
Im hanging beyond belief. God knows how many liquid calories i consumed yesterday and this morning, but it was a fab night so its all worth it.
I soo badly need to sort my weight out. My jeans feel a lot tighter and i hate it. Gym freak for me this week i think.0 -

Kangaroo steaks sound like a good option but they're simply not available over here. Makro used to sell them but following protests, they wimped out0 -
Well an enjoyable weekend with my brother but haven't focussed on healthy eating at all, although no alcohol. Back on the wagon tomorrow and hopefully for a run in the morning and then going to try the 30 Day Shred tomorrow evening. And I will be doing a WW focussed online shop this week (altho my freezer is pretty full at the mo.0

Yes, cba mode activated here too. Been so lazy this weekend. Still back to work tomorrow for a nice long healthy walkSo used to having mondays off, it's a hardship working tomorrow, but will be worth it when next weekend comes
Eric, we all do things that aren't good for us. My biggest baddies, smoking, salt, crisps and lurpak. Salt is way down my list of baddies. Oh I forgot the booze too :rotfl:Think it was that bottle of Glayva my dd and myself polished off last night that made me forget :rotfl: So as you can see, I'll stick with my salt. But on the bright side, I am trying to cut down on the lurpak and crisps. Have taken to trying to force myself to eat weetabix or porridge for breakfast, so i'm not hungry at work. Also leaving my purse in the car again so I won't be tempted at the vending machine. Chocolate isn't a problem for me, can take it or leave it, unless it's from Leonidas in Belgium, then I'm in chocolate heaven.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -

Please just join in as much as you can for maximum support. We have a few men around too at the moment which is great.
Any ideas about how you might be able to change the very understandible habits you have got into re the eating? I think joining a forum like this is a great first step:T.
Have a good run vixstar!I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
