    Hi Laura :o

Your story is so similar to mine!! I was 16 stone 9lbs when I started DIY SW on the beginning of July (16 stone 2lbs now :D) and I'm turning 30 next June. I've already met the father of my future children but my baby oven isn't burning so well and have suffered 2 MC's so far ... hoping to create a safer baby haven by losing some weight. I had success at SW when I was 21 but have put all the weight plus more on since then, so I'm also slimming to make myself healthier and more confident. Good Luck at WW!! xx

It really is similar! I think the approach of such milestone's often makes people take a hard look at their lives and aim to change them.

Sorry to hear about your MC's, i can imagine that must have been tough - wishing you all the luck in the world that you and your partner will have a new addition to your family someday soon :D

I've promised myself that i will go on a date or to a singles event by the end of this year, definately need to lose some weight first though in order to boost my confidence. Right now, if i was given a choice of going skydiving or going on a date, i would choose skydiving everytime - far less scary! lol

Just think - by this time next year we will both be 30 and looking fabulous! :D

Haha laura:rotfl:that made me laugh, and similarly I was 16 stone when I started. Lost 4, put a stone back on, now starting to lose a wee bit again.

But you know, there are some men out there who like larger ladies. I am never going to be skinny, but would love to lost another 2 stones. Optimistic, damn right I am. The only problem is, it comes off the wrong places. I am happy with my boobs and legs, but it always comes off those places instead of my middle, no matter what exercises I do.

Actually looking forward to next month to start the challenge.

Been good today, not eaten much fattening stuff, but totm approaches, so that along with the bread and cakes, I'm expecting to be facing a gain this week.

Never mind, next week I can start again :rotfl:
    4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j

victory - I've got a bro like that!! :rotfl:He always has to be the organiser and in charge of everything, I make plans and he'll come along and arbitrarily change them! It can get frustrating and though I know his heart is in the right place sometimes I just have to be firm with him. But I love him all the same and he's a great bro and fantastically generous uncle to my kids, so I can forgive him his little foibles! There are just some people in the world who are control freaks, in the nicest possible way (and some who are control freaks in the worst possible way, but that's a story for another day ;))

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: That sounds exactly like the sort of thing by bro would do!! My DD is a bit like that too - wants to know all the time who what where when why and then will ask again and again until it actually happens! I think she gets it from OH - I'll tell him I'm going out, say, shopping. It all comes back - where are you going? how long are you going to be? 2 hours? ok then you'll be back at 4 o'clock then? what do you mean maybe not? what time will you be back then? - and on and on and on! The answer "I dont know" just doesn't compute with some people! or the idea that sometimes you don't have to plan everything!
