Can I join this north/south team thing? I'm 11st 6lbs atm! Though, I dont really know what its' all about?
  • Wow some fab teams appearing on here now!! Come on Buckfast Beauties!! We can do it!!

I am a STS this week, which after yesterdays perfomance is more than I could have hoped for. Should be a steady settled week emotionally this week, yesterday was carp emotion wise.

So start weight this week is 17st 7, I know I haven't lost any but my "best" jeans feel looser, my belt goes up an extra notch too so something is happening somewhere lol
You never know how strong you are until you have no other option.

Sorry you won't be able to join us in defeating the northerners ;)

Did anyone watched Cherry gets married on BBC3 last night? It was all about different weddings and the host, Cherry, was getting married at the end. She was saying how she was 6lb off her target wedding weight so was only eating soup and went to a wedding boot camp. She then said to the camera 'oh my god i'm 9 stone 6' - well that put me in a foul mood as i would love to be 9st6

totm for me so i feel like mr blobby at the mo.
i got some evening primrose oil to calm my hormonal mood swings, thanks for the suggestion sary.

LOL bring on the challenge, we'll whup you Southern Softies lol

Didn't watch it but I agree I would love to be 9st 6, people in tv obviously need a reality check!!

Does the evening primrose oil work? I just might give it a try!!

I have no idea if it's worked yet, will ask the OH if i've been any less mental this month!!:rotfl: Seriously though i have only been taking it for a week or so, so perhaps it's too soon to tell. I am going to judge its success next month when i have been taking it for a longer time and then if I manage to get through totm without having a hissy fit or crying fit then i will know it's worked.

    Hi Ducatibabe
    Hi *Kat* :hello:
It would be great if you would join in, North or South whichever you choose. Its a 4 week challenge Kat, starting today, weve split into two teams and the team that loses the biggest %age of weight in that time will be the winner. So all you need to do is choose your team, eat a little less, move a little more, keep fredsnail updated with your progress and enjoy feeling so much more slimmer. Good luck to everyone, even the southies :-)

On Wednesday 22 September please let me know your current weight either by private message or posting on the board before 11.30pm. If you are unable to do so by Wednesday night please let me know via pm as soon as possible afterwards so we have an accurate starting weight for everyone.

I will not disclose anyone's weight to anyone.

The team challenge will run for 4 weeks from 22 September until 20 October.

Weekly team % losses will be shown on the chart every week.

If the number of members in the teams are uneven it won't matter as it will be a team % based on total weight of the teams.

Further rules may be made if I need to - I declare this contest open - let's keep it friendly and have some fun, but may the best team win.

ducatibabe : Can't you join WW? I think they had a join for £30 for 3 months, but if you do it through a cashback website, you get the £30 back? Just an idea, not sure if the deets are still the same.

Can I be in North please, seeings in from good old Scottish land?! :D

I'm woo-woo-wooing at losing 1 this week, last wednesday night and thursday had a huuuge binge... 2x12"pizzas, 16 buns, a ginger cake, 24 chocolate weetabix, chop suey rolls, chips etc...

Was that hunger or more than you needed? Do you feel hungry?
