    Hi Miggy,
Sounds like you could be grabbing onto the handlebars for dear life? :D If you're not then the setup of your bike may be slightly off.

Sounds like you're being very productive. Fantastic that you're doing so well on your bike too. x

Thanks Muffy. I wonder if the handlebars need to be raised or lowered a bit? I think the saddle's about right now.

The other thing is that slightly squashy front tyre... DH had a go and said it was making steering harder. Back to the bowl of water and the bubble test?

The last few days caught up with me and I slept till 11 this morning! DD and I discussed going shopping but there wasn't much time really so now we're thinking of going on Friday (please don't strike me off MSE for planning a shopping trip!)

I have far too much housework to do and would rather put it off but I suppose if I knuckle down and get some done it will all be to the good.

Thought about that one... there may be something in it! My shoulders are a bit stiff today! Just not used to steering. :D

Those are really neat, Erme! I've never come across them before. How do you stop the SFs from scrambling out, though?

It has a zip at the top (well two zippers) and like the mesh is all sewn in. Really unless they chew their way out they can't get out. Mine were just in it to get cleaned out today and figured there must be an easy way out of it but they just couldn't work it out.

I still say the plastic things though with bedding in are best for toilet training. They can just jump in and out of those...

Ah, I couldn't see the mesh on the Ebay pic... I don't think SF would get out too easily (though I once knew a rabbit who ate his way out of a wire mesh hutch front!)

Today - MS already, which is just as well as I spent a fair amount yesterday. My piano lesson was cancelled - saving £10. :) Shame when I'd practised but tbh I need more practice... it's that there Mozart. Even in simplified versions he's too darned tricky and doing 'variations' just doesn't pull the wool over anyone's eyes. :D

Yesterday - I haven't got the receipts with me but £17-something at Wilkins0ns and £18-something on groceries. Admittedly the Wilk0's spending included a bike lock which is a one-off spend, but the rest was mostly cleaning stuff which used to go on the food bill. Over the last year it's not been possible to keep it all there, so it's gradually migrated to a slot of its own and writing that down makes me realise it needs a separate budget. If it weren't for the washing machine and dishwasher I could probably absorb it back into 'food' money' but those two make all the difference. I'll try to remember to make a note how long the next pack of each lasts then I'll have more of an idea. (Did this years ago - have since forgotten).

Yesterday's food shop was mostly store cupboard and lunches. No salad, but we have some left from last week and DS1's g/f gave us some from her fridge as she's away.

Once again there is a little space in the freezer: my task for this week is to make it bigger.

ETA: Did a spot of deep-cleaning type housework yesterday and am happy with the result even if there's too much still to do. :)

My SF's can chew almost anything LOL...

What exactly do you have Miggy? A bunny? How big? It says it would take dwarf rabbits and like ferrets. Don't know about big bunnies. Could be a bit swashed though it's buy it now so like if it doesn't fit you could always send it back or pm him or something. Will try and get measurements.

MM hasn't texted or phoned since the weekend when he said that it was a woman's choice to have an abortion just like it's a person's choice to sell something at the pawn shop or like use a pay day loan. Fact is they have to take responsiblity for their financial choices. It's not quite the same with murdering the unborn child (and I'm against abortion. Sorry if this offends some). But he said this to shock me and he certainly did that.

People have been saying to cut him off for years. He really is hard work. He says he has borderline personality disorder though with his isolation and self centredness I'm now wondering if it's more anti social. I've tried to help him with his budget but he like has the bank of Dad so doesn't worry. Spends £10 a day just on housekeeping!!! Never menu plans and doesn't go to the cheapest supermarket. Stopped his DLA even though he's over 10K in debt and he can't cook for love nor money. Doesn't exactly exercise and walks like a snail on largactil (and that's more about him being unfit than anything else. Or as he said - not having a belt for his jeans). Doesn't have 101 probs like I do (like what did I eat yesterday? Porridge; a small half bowl of cous cous and like some chips in the microwave cos I had no energy). Och sorry. Microwaves - even for reheating are out cos what they do to the food. His house needs a good decorate but he won't do that himself and he can't afford it right now. He reckon if he's ever hard on his luck he can sell the house (flat - its bedsit. Only the main room is decorated. No shower, no washing machine) and like get social housing. I don't think so. It's like he still reckons the economy is booming. Even shopping at S Local is out because the automated tills 'do folk out of job'. Will he get work? Pigs will sooner fly.

    Argh!!!!

    Sorry for the rant...

YW :D Yep, sounds as though there are problems there... :)

SF is a pure black Lionhead dwarf rabbit - I've had other breeds before and Lionheads are something special. She's a Netherland Dwarf X but apart from the eye position I wouldn't have guessed. More or less perfectly Lionhead, looks-wise.

DS2 is after the computer and I have to be in work soon so apologies for the short reply. It will stop me going on and on about what a lovely breed they are! :D
