    Thanks for the words. :D

I wouldn't worry about the donation for the candle, it's a suggested donation not a fee. At the end of the day they aren't going to charge people to pray (or they might be the ones getting struck down?! :D). Anyway I'm impressed you went in. :) I kind of want to say thank you because you made the effort but that doesn't sound right. I hope you know what I mean.

Oh dear I really must get myself into gear and stop sitting at the computer. Back later if I get the chance.

DS2 has no exams tomorrow so I get the computer but I'm off to work soon.

I remembered what I was going to say the other day - I went to A&E to get my toe X-rayed. It turns out I've chipped a bone, but having said this the bruise is already fading and it doesn't hurt.

I managed a bit of gardening and now it looks like rain. Oh, and I got paid the other day, which I think I mentioned: that's likely to be the last lot of any significant OT for a while with new staff about to start.

Nothing financial to report. I've done four nights at work and now I've got about a week off. I'm very short of sleep but hope to catch up tonight. I don't feel tired though.

DS1 is off to New York for a few days! Missing the Jubilee but the flags will be out for a while yet... everywhere. Flag making must be a booming sector this year.

All the exercise and watching what I eat has started to pay off (signature weight now out of date) but last night I succumbed to Wagon Wheels... never mind, I'm back on the er... wagon I suppose. :D

Which raises the question, HAVE wagon wheels got smaller, or have we got bigger? :D
