Go for it - your knee will be a lot better by then and it may be a great job.If it's too much for your knee, you can do a rethink later.

It seems to be in the air right now. Is anyone full of energy and raring to go? I slept till 10 this morning - am blaming antihistamines. (I won't take one today because I'm working tonight - will just have to put up the allergy, which is pretty well where I am now as it's very low-level and the antihistamines don't so far cure it completely). But new sofa has got me tidying my bombsite :j...so that's good

You can come and tidy my bomb site too if you wish?I hope you can keep on track and get back to repayments by next week. You've already done a great job with debt no. 1.

I can see I will have to eat all the hob nobs myself, then. It will be all this forum's fault if I gain weight.
Here we are, then, fresh for today: choccie digestives for Erme, fair trade ginger biscuits for Ani (those really are fab) and bourbon biscuits for those who don't want the above. What, no cake left? I think it must have been finished off in honour of people finally deciding to pay Ani.
I have also stocked up on Earl Grey, hot chocolate and, for those who've been around long enough, Rennies.
And in the Miggy house today - we have 41 tomatoes sprouted! Some of these are pretty well doomed, sadly, as they've decided to shove roots upwards or something has broken off the seed leaves. So that leaves me with about 38...
I still have Mum's bookcase to clean up, her accounts to do and my piano and exercise if I get that far. Work tonight and tomorrow night. Goldfish and SF to clean out (but it's raining solidly) and some general housework. I'll try to leave for work early enough to pick up bargains from the supermarket just before 9.
DD told me something interesting: I'm not imagining that the end of day reductions are getting cheaper. She says it costs shops to put things into landfill so they would rather dispose of them for a few pennies. I think I'll go and work where she does (up-market supermarket).
One thing to add - home group last night was amazing. Given me lots to think about.Miggy

at our local supermarket the whoopsies seem to be getting scarcer but i think that's cos they've started reducing them much earlier in the day when i can't get there. Otherwise quite often what is reduced has only been reduced by less then 10% which doesn't make it worthwhile really.0

I don't have much hope of big reductions earlier in the day though of course I have a look if I happen to be around.
The best reductions are just before 9pm and of course it's luck of the draw whether it's things I would like. Always worth a try though if I'm on my way to work and have to go past it anyway.
I have been planting seeds again - beetroot and perennial sweet peas so far. The flowers I planted a couple of weeks ago are now growing true leaves and will need more space soon. At the moment it's unlikely to be out of doors as it's so full of weeds and grass! It's beautifully green, though. It was on the news that Yorkshire's water table is back to where it should be!Miggy

I bought some more seeds again, yesterday. Grand total spent, £3.
However, for that i got a 6 in 1 pack of sweet peas, ( yes, yet more sweet peas, oh dear,) including claret, scented, white, bijou, ( sorry BIJOU :rotfl:,) striped, and pink, an 8 in 1 pots of colour, comprising petunia, aster, viola, godetia, marigold, lobelia, alyssum and poppy, and i pushed the boat out and bought a pack of salad bar seed collection, comprising cucumber, cress, tomato, little gem lettuce, iceberg lettuce, lollo rossa, radish, ( anyone like radish? :rotfl:,) and spring onion.
Thats a whole lot of seeds for £3. Note - i am now being more mse as i have turned to buying seeds instead of plants :rotfl: Thank goodness for £1 shops :rotfl:
I now need a greenhouse. I wonder if they sell those in the £1 shop? In the meantime and taking it along the troughs line, i think i'll have to buy some sort of huge container for the salad bar :eek:Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

DH is king of the bargain hunters today - he got salmon marked down from £7-something to 84p!
I too got some amazing food bargains over the last couple of days... I wish I could spread the amazing mark-down magic around and let everyone have some.
However the food money is all spent up this week due to laundry and dishwasher detergents (no, we don't eat them - same budget though). I hope next week will be a bit better, due to salmon already in the freezer, and a big pizza marked down from £4 to 60p.DD also came home with a bag full of stuff from her work which cost her 64p in total... just had a thought - bet the milk man comes to be paid next week...
On other subjects, I've done well for exercise this week, have a few days off from work and have just realised how messy this room is, so I had best do some sorting before bed.Miggy
