Oh, I like sweet williams. I bought some Lily of the Valley (which I've avoided so far because I seem to remember it's poisonous, but the kids are old enough now not to eat it), a red Euphorbia and a blue corydalis.

It's now a gorgeous day though by the look of the ground it was pouring down not that long ago. Once it's a bit drier I may try to make some impact on the garden. I need to make places for the new plants not just leave them in pots as I tend to.

Today is a list day. First though - I woke to brilliant sunshine and the first of the tomatoes sprouting! So far there are 12 of a theoretical 108 showing signs of life. This could be interesting...

I've had my piano lesson, which wasn't the most successful (I need to practice more and I know it), but at least I enjoy it.

I have a mountain of laundry to do: some for Mum is nearly finished and I have a second load in progress for us lot. (Older offspring were both away this weekend and of course came back with laundry... interestingly they were both apologetic about the amount).

It can't decide here whether to be nice or torrential so I'm not sure how to plan for exercise and shopping. I'll just make the list and chip away at it.

    [STRIKE]3 loads of washing[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Mum's shopping[/STRIKE]
    Mum's accounts
    [STRIKE]pay Mum's cleaner[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]get exercise[/STRIKE]
    do piano practice
    plant seeds
clean up bookcase for Mum (one her Dad made her. Brought it back from her house, it will mean space for more of her books which in turn releases much-needed space here!)
    [STRIKE]Get out the week's food money[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Shop for us[/STRIKE]
    Label clothes
    [STRIKE]order Mum's cheque book[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]collect prescriptions[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]buy pet food[/STRIKE]

I'll add more as I think of them.

Och I wish I could do the allotment - jealous...

Don't know what I did to the knee today but splint is back on at least for the night :(....

Och well...everyone reckons I'm going to get slaughtered at the clinic on Monday LOL. I have it on like one day then take it off for a few days :)

    Tee hee....

So today I think walking down a hill minus stick kind of did my knee - don't think it was the cycle to the shops. Went pretty smoothly after I got going. Really good on the new bike. Loaded up the panniers (well loaded up...But alas they had no deodorant and cheap bolognese tins) and like only spent £15 :j

It's great that your knee is improving and your sofa's come - I'm sorry to say I'm not actually a nurse so I can't do you IV energy... I do a good line in coffee if that's any help though? :D And virtual biscuits - today's are hob nobs (no one's eating those) and ginger nuts, if Ani's left any.

Actually I may as well come clean and ssay there is a very large, freshly made, rather squidgy and fabulous home made virtual chocolate cake because I was feeling greedy. Please have some - it's going to my waistline just looking at it, and I'd much rather someone enjoyed it than I just pigged out. :)

Yes, this is another day when I need a list. I'm on the third load of washing and have labelled some clothes for Mum, I've done my Bible reading and my exercise (no piano practise as yet), given goldfish medicine to the poor fish that DS2 brought home from the fair and I still have to:
    put together a casserole
    [STRIKE]get some photos printed[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]put last load of washing on the line[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]empty dishwasher[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]put SF in her run[/STRIKE]
    clean sf's hutch

Back later to bring this up to date.

I think it's very posh vodka because it's utterly colourless and doesn't taste of anything... :D

Hope you are now asleep. :)
