  • Where on earth are Ryanair?

Surely there can't be any other company which so overtly shows utter contempt for its customers from the highest level downwards?
I really must stop loafing and get back to work...

  • Without a shadow of a doubt THE worst service i have ever received for any service provision in my life. I have been a Talk Talk "customer" (and i use that term very sparingly) since May this year when i transferred from BT primarily for the Free Broadband service. In that time i have had intermitant broadband conection for 14 days only and the whole thing hasn't worked at all since 9th June. Despite a multitude of phone calls to the 10p per minute phone help line and the virtually impossible to get hold of Customer Service, various emails, written complaints etc etc etc i am still in exactly the same position today as i was on 9th June and to think i had to pay a £29.99 connection charge!! I have even tried to re-order a replacemnt modem in the chance that this is the cause, this has now had to be ordered 4 seperate times with still no sight of the first order. The last order date runs on on 21 Sept and i seriously doubt that one will show up either.

I am now seeking to remove myself from this service without paying the further £70 disconnection charge...

    Here's hoping, finger crossed.

If you're thinking of joining Talk Talk, think again, long and hard, they can't/won't talk to you.

n-power are very bad indeed. took them month to admit to their mistake.
    nothing scares me.....ive got kids
  • Does anyone know how to get a response to letters, phone calls and emails from any of these companies? I am in dispute about charges from NTL (for a service which I cancelled in December 2004) for which they refuse to take NO for an answer. It seems that once a service has been taken on one has to continue until death or madness strike!!!

Without a shadow of doubt it has to be BT. If you dare complain about the service, they make you talk to someone on the other side of the world, who cannot speak english.
To top that they also charge you way over the odds for a defective product that rarely delivers what it should.

A truly awful disgrace of a company.

For the record, Woolworths, Comet, B&Q (& Superdrug) formerly all part of Kingfisher are now separate companies and are not American owned. But do we in fact mean operating in Britain rather than British owned ?

Worst company from what perspective ? Customer service ? Value for money ? As an employer ? Efficiency & competence ? To invest in ? Corporate responsibility ?

Probably the worst from the customer point of view will be either a motor dealer or a housebuilder, but we are spoilt for choice to select a particular one. Many rail operators can't be far behind too.

And what about British Airways ?
    I blame Blair

British Gas for me. We moved into our house last April and wanted to change over from a pre-payment meter to a normal meter. British Gas haven't been able to sort this out in all this time, and at one point claimed we owed them £29,000!

Did I mention it was a pre-payment meter?
