  • The worst company (imho) is not on the list. It's got to be South West Trains for me. Definitely.

    Aldi/ lidil vodafone is german not british
    asda / starbucks/ tk max / woolworths is american
    Co-op is owned and run by the public

    so should be left out of the list

    imho as the devestation it causes is in the name British Petroleum then BP is the worst role model for corporate Britain.

    just another thought I see that British gas Tops the list. But surley they have a much bigger customer base being a service provider rather than a retail outlet, like tesco hmv

    as has been discussed in Ben500 vote we have now been given the choice to vote for 50 companies to see who is the worst. Only three of those are service providers so the odds are already stacked against them and unsuprisingly they are the top 3.

    I think Tesco's customer base competes with any service provider - and more than surpasses most of them.

    First of all this is an indicative vote on sentiment - nothing more.

    Also the key here will be the 'difference' indicator ie subtract best from worst.

    While Tesco was most liked, its also in top ten most hated (so far). Yet British gas had negligible 'likes votes' - even with a wide customer base - yet many 'worst'

  • Mfi must take some beating. Its misleading sales techniques both in store and particularly on line are very irritating and they absolutely know it. I have phoned and e-mailed them on several occassions to point this out and the general feeling i get is that the staff know it, but legally speaking are within the border lines of what they can get away with.

    I am in shock that I can't seem to find BSkyB under the list of most horrendous firms! Their complacency arising from their monopoly status is unbelievable. Their customer service truly dreadful.

    I was S T U N N E D not to see Npower in there!!! :eek::eek:
    Thanks to them misinforming when I signed up, then 'altering/fiddling' with my meter reading to the high end, I overpaid my bills by £700, it took almost 2 years to actually reach the meter reading they were using, I was accused of fixing my meter, I was fobbed off to a debt collection agency who treated me like scum over the 'phantom' debt that didn't exist, I experienced 3 years of stress trying to get it all sorted, and not once did they apologise after Energy Watch finally got it all sorted and pinpointed it to Npower, which me and British Gas had done 2 years prior....................so you can see when one of their numpties knock the door, like they did this week.......................they get one hell of a story about why I won't be switching to them!! :mad:

    And in addition to all that, they accused a friend of mine of fixing his meter..........when it was a key meter, can't tell you the arguments he had with them!:rolleyes:

    AND a friends bf used to work for them and has many office stories of dodginess!! :eek:

    AND lol couldn't believe I didn't see First Choice in there either................TWICE they've c0cked up our holidays the incompetent twots! :rolleyes::rolleyes:
