Only a few hours before my son knows if he'll be living near IRD Homes office in Kingston. Perhaps he'll meet Sunhil Dhown!"If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0

"We're all very nervous in our house. Almost as nervous as we'll be looking for accommodation in Kingston. I hear IRD Homes have an office there"

And you too, I mean after all what parent wouldnt be over the moon if not only her son got into the chosen university but also that you could be certain of a great property company providing fantastic quality student lettings to university students on a tight budget. Maybe we could rig him up a part time job at Krystalz? At the least you will be straight off the blocks to line up such qulity accmodation for him in the student scramble for reasonably priced rental property in a safe and well maintained property, wont you!

Sorry. I will stop laughing enough just to post a shameless bump about the "excellent" services provided by Sunhil Dhown and IRD Homes (or IRD Lettings)Signaller, author, father, carer.0

How much is student accomodation these days?
I might need to start saving, we have just over 11 years before eldest reaches that age.0 -
Well if its with Sunhil Dhown or IRD Lettings then you really do not know, because it is alledged that they place a premium charge if you want to use a parking space and when its getting close to exam time, they help prepare you for the excrutiating stress by upping your rent at the six month mark, meaning you either move out just as exams are starting or pay the increased rate.
Many other tenants however are equally sensitive and polite and offer: Free Parking, a single rate for the entire year, less stress, less hassle.Signaller, author, father, carer.0 -
Pimento? Any news? Hope all is well and you are a proud and happy parent.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

Yes, where is our "SHE GOT STRAIGHT A*'s" post?
You never know, if anyone has a child getting Law A-Levels this year then maybe IRD Lettings will be looking for a legal guru!Signaller, author, father, carer.0
