I might go and view one of Sunny's properties wearing them though. Special Occassion.
You'd expect better of the 1990s. There was a whole ten years. They're down to number 15 and it's still crap.
That sounds better than a shameless bump, watching Lettings from Hell and drinking Moet & Chandon. I wonder if Mr Dhown drinks that stuff while watching that program to see if he is on there?
I remember the '90s though, I was still at schoolSignaller, author, father, carer.0 -
This is a serious question for the board moderators:
If I was to start a thread on this board implementing a list of individuals or organisations who it is likely that we "would require to offer retractions to at some point" and invited contributions, would said offering be removed along with my account?
Obviously I have three to start the list, being Mr S Dhown, IRD Homes and Northwood LettingsSignaller, author, father, carer.0 -

Maybe somebody will post when this reaches page two to remind me which I left out.0 -
I don't remember Cardiff or Glasgow being mentioned prior to Salz.
Don't forget to add Northwood Lettings to your list.Signaller, author, father, carer.0 -

Is this still going strong?
I do believe so. I think there is still a concern about students potentially not realising that IRD Homes may increase the rent if the agreement is renewed when it runs out, which in the past has occurred around the lead up to examination time.
I believe at some point it mentioned this on their own website, but I can't see it at the moment.
I think there may have been other issues in the past too, which can be found by a review of this thread.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

A quick recap, and in no way a bump:
IRD Homes and Sunhil/Sunil Dhownes are alleged to do the following
1) Increase the rent at the 6 month break clause
2) Charge extra for car parking spaces not mentioned in their contracts
3) May not be the quickest when it comes to repairs
However, I am sure this is not the case, and that they really are jolly nice chapsThe fact that their website went down when this thread was in it's prime was surely no more than a coincidence, and I am glad it is now back up so we can all read about their aggressive techniques;)
