Yeah, sort of, no! I'm all grown up now. Lying in bed watching 50 Biggest Selling Dance Hits of the 90s and drinking Veuve. That's about as exciting as it gets. Though I have a fabulous pair of pony skin Louboutins but I don't walk in them. Taxi shoes.

I might go and view one of Sunny's properties wearing them though. Special Occassion. :D

You'd expect better of the 1990s. There was a whole ten years. They're down to number 15 and it's still crap.

That sounds better than a shameless bump, watching Lettings from Hell and drinking Moet & Chandon. I wonder if Mr Dhown drinks that stuff while watching that program to see if he is on there?

I remember the '90s though, I was still at school :D

  • This is a serious question for the board moderators:

If I was to start a thread on this board implementing a list of individuals or organisations who it is likely that we "would require to offer retractions to at some point" and invited contributions, would said offering be removed along with my account?

Obviously I have three to start the list, being Mr S Dhown, IRD Homes and Northwood Lettings

I thought I had better point out as well that we really are going off-subject although it keeps Mr Dhown and IRD at the forefront of peoples minds as they supply "excellent" properties to students in Kingston, Isleworth and Edinburgh.......

Maybe somebody will post when this reaches page two to remind me which I left out.
As Salz has posted, CARDIFF, and then there's GLASGOW too. Nice looking new builds.
  • I don't remember Cardiff or Glasgow being mentioned prior to Salz.
Don't forget to add Northwood Lettings to your list.

Do a search of this thread using those city names - plenty of mentions:)
  • I must have been very drunk when I missed them then. I will go bump myself later as a punishment

I do believe so. I think there is still a concern about students potentially not realising that IRD Homes may increase the rent if the agreement is renewed when it runs out, which in the past has occurred around the lead up to examination time.

I believe at some point it mentioned this on their own website, but I can't see it at the moment.

I think there may have been other issues in the past too, which can be found by a review of this thread.

A quick recap, and in no way a bump:
IRD Homes and Sunhil/Sunil Dhownes are alleged to do the following
    1) Increase the rent at the 6 month break clause
    2) Charge extra for car parking spaces not mentioned in their contracts
    3) May not be the quickest when it comes to repairs

However, I am sure this is not the case, and that they really are jolly nice chaps :p The fact that their website went down when this thread was in it's prime was surely no more than a coincidence, and I am glad it is now back up so we can all read about their aggressive techniques;)

That doesn't sound like punishment to me!
