yes but its the same if a company messes up they should pay my advice (and i have a 99.9 % win rate when i moan ) is never ask for anything and when they offer compo laugh and say keep it i will take my custom elsewhere DO NOT LET THEM WIN :beer:

How the heck do you manage to live on just over £11 worth of shopping a week for at least 3 of you? I used to spend more than that a week when I lived on my own! :eek:

phone them in advance, they should put it in a handover book, make a note of who you spoke to and then take it in next time you do your shopping.
make sure they put it in and they know when you are going in (i.e what day and roughly what time of day- morning, afternoon or evening)

if it is in the book chances are the person will know what has happened, all customer service desk people read the book when they come on (or they did when i worked there)

Mrs. Gambler went to the store earlier today and they couldn't even refund the amount to our card and suggested we contact our bank! Funny how there never seems to be a problem when spending on the card at least once a week in their store.

Have been given the name of the the Customer Services manager at Head Office so will be putting a strong complaint in writing.

Also not happy to be told that it was 'human error' and that trading standards allow for this, cheek.

that's disgusting! definately persue this one. funny how they manage to refund money to peoples accounts when they bring items back for a refund. Absolutely disgusting!

I think this is only on meat because all are different weights, the price of the item using £x/kg is calculated and included in the barcode when the label is printed.

An excellent letter of complaint sent to the customer services manager at the store today. Will wait on their response before contacting their bosses at Head Office.
