Thankyou both :) will look into buying one, i think it could be a godsend at the minute.

Sorry to hear about the midwife MOTM she sounds really rude and very unprofessional. At the scan they'll be able to give you an accurate due date and be able to tell you if there is more than one.

Happy birthday to your twins for tomorrow though :)

Thanks. Hopefully it will be better next week and thanks for the twins, i'm sure they'll have a great day, they cannot fail to have.

Sorry, don't meant to come on here all negative and not read back fully, but my usual laid back self isn't present at the moment and need to be spending it with my girls to keep my chin up (and Lucy who need me to keep hers up)

    okay quick question

Lo is 18 months, but petite ;) She doesn't like her 0-11kg baby swim float anymore, she prefers being more free to swim. I wondered about getting her armbands. Opinions please?

I had a swim vest for LO which I didnt really like as she didnt have so much movement, we now use armbands and she can swim/float around without being held ( shes still quite petite and weighs approx 23lb and shes 2 1/2)

MOTM - fingers crossed for you and Lucy and happy birthday to your twins :)

MFD - LO is going through the hitting phase ( can it still be classed as a phase when it has lasted for.....ever!) and we now give her one warning then she is sat on the naughty step for 2 minutes.

Im having a lovely night - LO in bed, DD1 and OH at work until 10 its so peaceful.

Krystal have you tried taking a photo too see if you can see anything?
She has a button nose like Chris doesn't she? (i think I remember that from seeing here)
Apparently a wide/flat bridge makes it hard for the HV to be sure there's no turn, the test thing they do was inconclusive on Chris so he was referred to orthopitics - was discharged earlier this year with fabby vision :D (won't last long seeing as both OH and I need specs)

I didn't go to the laundrette, when I checked the nearest one was 2 mins away from ILs so I just went there and used their dryer ;) much less stress as the boys had toys to entertain themselves with too, I NEED a dryer, nothing gets dry here unless the heating is on full so I'm giving myself a month to try and win something big to sell/a dryer and if not I'll just have to dip in the savings :(

I saw a link earlier from '3' with her review for Bastage camp.

I did read it all but it's all gone over my head after today, but just please be careful and stick to the facts and and be careful what you say. I'm not sure anything in there was over the line, but I can't find it to read it again. Just be careful you don't give any opinion that may lead to them counter attack you, as this is how these people work. They will try and find an untrue allegation (in there eyes) and turn it against you.

It may well be that you've not said anything that isn't factual, but when we are angry we tend to just type and type - and I recall it was a long review :D

Best of luck and keep us all updated. We all know the truth and are rooting for you, but please be careful

Where's Roger Cook when you need him. He'd go wading in on your behalf, he's not frightened of anything or anyone :D

ETA - Meant to be a please be careful post, not a formal post :D

Luce - I think TK Maxx have had peanut shell pouch slings quite cheap recently, (IIRC sub £20) check out the sling meet website to see if there is one near you, some of the SM organisers run sling libraries so you could rent one and see if it works for you then before shelling out for an expensive one - FWIW I LOVE my slings and do think they are worth it in the long run, esp if you'll be having anymore babies and they also tend to fetch a good price on ebay 2nd hand

You can kind of see it on this photo...<removed>

Dave can see it anyway... And it's the same side he's blind in and the same side his Dad had his lazy eye... I think I'll book her in once Aimee's back to school... Either that or wait until this baby is born and take advantage of the health visitor home visit... If I get one... lol...

My fingers are all really sore at the minute, you know when you get little threads of skin that lift up right at the nail bed... I used to get them a lot when I was working with lots of paperwork, don't know what could be causing it now though?
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

MOTM I've just noticed that my earlier post was eaten by board gremlins - I'm sure everything's ok inside Lucy and even if there's more than one extra person on the way I'm sure everything will be fine for you all.
