Thanks CAFC, Its nice to know it is just a phase
Will try that with the blanket and also the toy, i haven't tried swaddling him, will give it a go.
FWIW i would try the dream feeding, we've been dream feeding Alfie for the past couple of weeks and he's sleeping a lot better now. He still wakes around 4/5 am for a feed but it's a lot better than what it was. Kindof gave me the link to this if its any help?
ooooh i'm off to look at that...
He was waking at about 4am, and then again at half 5-6-half 6.... thats the bit that kills me is the 5am, because he doesnt go back to sleep so hes whinging for like 3 hours, drifting and then re-waking...
hes gone back to waking up at about half 2/3 and then again at half 5.....
I'm pretty sure its the next growth spurt....
Tempted to try it tomorrow night as DH is off work now for 3 days... so he could do the dream feed at say 10pm, whilst i sleep and then i can do the early morning one (whatever time that might be....:rotfl:)
I tried swaddling Landen but he really hates his arms being restrained, but some babies love it and sleep like angels...:AWealth is not measured by currency0 -
HAHAHAHA!!! Washing up... What do you think I am? A housewife or something?
I have a machine for that
I don't think it's that her eye isn't open as wide PP1, but because she's only got little eyes and big irises it's not so noticeable... She's really into row row row your boat at the minute though so she's spent a lot of time sitting on my knees staring at my face and it's just noticeable enough to concern me...
I didn't tell D which eye I thought it was either and he picked up on it as soon as I said... (and he got her to sit still long enough to look into his eyes...)A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

VTS, Vanishing twin syndrome.
Basically, it has been noticed that something like 70-80% of multiple pregnancies confirmed by an early scan (upto 8 weeks) result in only 1 baby being present at later scans.
This got everyone worried.
Then while doing some research into how identical twins 'happen' they realised that a single fertilised egg splits in two far more often than they estimated based on twin births.
So now (I got it wrong earlier) they estimate that 1 in 8 of us started out life with a twin. But for whatever reason, 1 is reabsorbed or sometimes miscarried. Usually there are no symptoms of this happening and it's only due to the fact that more women are having early scans that it was even noticed.0 -

Vanishing Twin Syndrome. That was how I knew I was pregnant. I didn't eat that much at Christmas, I was ill, I should have lost weight not burst out my skirt that was a bit too big... :rotfl:
Remember the parping? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I knew at the end of November, my period was always regular to the hour, and when I went to buy a test the smell of the perfumes at the front of the shop was so overpowering I threw up on their doormatWhen I put the test down in front of the cashier she looked at me and was like, Do you really think you need to bother?
The parping, ye gods, and I couldn't control it!! When not pregnant I go to the bathroom or elsewhere to do it and never ever when other people are around but I was a parps machine and was perpetually mortified. Fortunately when we were out in public Husband would excuse himself when I parped. That's love.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

I think your timing was better than mine, I was too sick to eat Christmas dinner
Husband made a roast goose and tons of lovely veg, and a chocolate Toblerone cake for dessert. I had about half a bite and had to lie down.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
