I'll respond to individual posts tomorrow as there are so many and I have little time to respond on this phone, but thanks for all the comments and advice.

Just to clarify, it was mainly form filling, chatting, making dates and midwife did measure her and said she was large for the suspected 9 weeks that she is. An appointment was made for Tuesday where she will be scanned, I assume this is the dating scan? Although it was suggested that this would be an ultrasound to also determine if twins/multiples were present and to see if there are likely to be complications. We left confused :o

Sorry, had way more to say and posts to answer. Not ignoring any of you and shall reply to you all tomorrow when twins are getting ready for their party.

Also apologies for alarming you with VTS. It was something that came up today and as I said earlier, no idea why midwife kept mentioning it as all it did was upset Lucy and Tia says it's up to 8 weeks anyway (think I have quoted you right) and Lucy is 9 (if we have it right)

Sorry, topsy turvey post. Lucy will be fine and treated like a princess as always and she's a tough cookie who will have plenty of support. We're going to chat soon.

Oh yes, MFD, she's definitely showing and bigger from my recollection of my previous partners at this stage, although I could be totally wrong as it was a long time ago and just my imagination.

Goodness. Apparently the broken window will cost over £1200 and who will pay for it? Your insurance, lady, I assume you have it in order to comply with basic legal requirements?

Have pasted your status comments and the link on bastage camp FB page...wonder how long until I get deleted and banned from the group...and if we can create a 100+ person link of them on her page...

After all - continuing to publicise this will lead to upset all round ;)

Gill, roll up two towels and shove them under the mattress down the sides. Voila, a wee nest that he shouldn't be able to roll in.

I'm having a bit of trouble visualising this Tia...do you mean I roll them up and put them on top of the mattress to create a sort of bumper, or do they go underneath to make mattress curve?

Just been reading that blog.....what a numpty that woman is...wish she didn't share my name lol

MFD - how do we creat a 100+ person link? can i help?

That's strange that she measured Lucy. They don't tend to start measuring until 20something weeks?

Lucky getting a random scan though, the rest of us had to wait until 12 weeks lol...

I don't think this woman is long trained or maybe she's just a loose cannon. Just a hunch, no evidence.

Scan next week is because MW has concerns. She'll still get the other scans, apparently.
