I really must stop lurking on here but...just wanted to add that I'm also absolutely disgusted by the actions of b camp and have added a comment on the FB group (I'm EH). I fully expect it to get pulled pretty soon but if you would rather I deleted it so as not to 'fan to flames' I will happily do so.

I wish I could more to help on a practical level; I do actually have a law degree but is so out of date now that it is practically been rendered useless in this capacity!

I'm not sure if I'm more disgusted by their actual actions on the day or their continued attempt to swerve any form of liability and culpability.

Whatever the outcome I wish you well and hope that your future holidays are happy ones that you can remember fondly.

For anyone who has an amber teething necklace - has the clasp bit broken?? Thomas has only worn his about 5 times and when I went to put it on today the screw bit had gone so I have no way of fastening it! I need to have a good root round the nursery coz it must be somewhere in there but I need to email the seller and see if he can help...I don't hold out much hope tho :( I used the link that was on here, I think it was the same one that Sami and Boo had used (altho my memory could have let me down there lol)

Here's some pics of T enjoying his Hop n Pop for the first time

Alfie will not stop crying and its driving me mad :(
    .
Sorry to hear about Alfie. He is a bit too young to be attached, but I agree with the swaddling. I have to swaddle Ayana with the same blanket at bedtime otherwise shes trying to role all over the place. Its even part of her bedtime routine now, once ive wrapped her up, she closes her eyes! :A so cute. Hope he settles soon.

Sorry to hear about your cow5.gif midwife MOTM. I think some of them have been at it so long that they have become immune to all feelings!

She works in a large retail store ( where I work and OH is deputy manager :) ) she works 4 evenings and is just doing it for pocket money and at £6.24 shes on a lot more than most of her friends per hour whilst she goes to college so nothing to do with her chosen career path. I am enjoying seeing her excitement at spending all her hard earned money:)

I was going to be rude and ask- how old are you? You look far too young and full of life to have a daughter that old! ;):)

Michelle - if you're lurking, I hope you're ok and your Grandad's funeral goes ok tomorrow - I'll be thinking about you.

Thank you gill, very sweet of you. Been rubbish today- a pj day and a bit of a cry just thinking about tomorrow. Doesnt help when my family are being muppets and rely on me to sort their travel arrangements! :( I asked my brothers so many times if they had train fare to get back and everytime- yes. He put a message on my FB wall (!) saying he hadnt enough and could I give it him- thats 60 pound for both of them! I dont have that amount of money and we had to pay out 150 pounds just to hire a car and book a room so we could stay over since were taking ayana with us. Im not cancelling our room to take them home. Oh well....

Hey Som, do you know what time they update the website then because it was ALWAYS between 9:30 and 10am for me. So whilst I was at work, I had to ensure students were doing independent work.

Sorry, cant remember who posted a reply to the "chav spoon" but can you explain why its called that so I can demm whether im a chav or not. :)

Had my renewal through for our car insurance (we do multi car one to simplify things) £700 with Admiral, did a quote with More Than Premier £1000+ for an R reg and an 04 plate :rotfl:

Sticking with what we've got for now I think.

DH is making plans for us to become a 1 car, 1 motorbike household again.

We've been racking our brains to come with a solution that meant we didn't have to rely on mum to get Katie to school and back everyday, she's suggested that he buys a bike with a trailer, research time I think.

Michelle - it was Sami who whispered about the chav spoon, my brain has gone to bed so I can't give an explanation sorry :)
I'll be thinking of you tomorrow.

Gill - those pictures are gorgeous.

Elliebobs are you still about - you've freaked me out a little. :o
MFD & I saw your supportive post earlier, and I was wondering if you were an MSE lady who's name we'd forgotten.
I had a look at your friends, and a few of your friends are my work colleagues! Do you work for UK CS too?
Is it a really small world?

DH is making plans for us to become a 1 car, 1 motorbike household again.

OH is thinking this too atm. Because of parking (lack of) at his work, cost of insurance/tax/fuel etc etc. But I really don't think i'd trust him with a motorbike - he's too much of a boy.

Michelle - it all started with a different and very tacky looking spoon/bottle thing that MFD was sent to test for BB. kinda linked to the stereotypical thing of rusk in bottles too. I don't think you're a chav though (if you are you hide it well ;))
tbh I think they are a completely ridiculous product but obviously someone is buying them and I'm sure some think its great

Gill - I've had no problems with our amber necklace apart from Ed managing to undo it once, hope the seller is helpful :) Lovely pic too!

I think DH will like that idea better as he gets very paranoid about T suffocating on things that are in the cot! He moves his teddie right to the top of the cot way out of the way!
    :o I still do this now:o
