oh my god ... my kids are driving me absolutly NUTS!!! today .. zoe while we we're out .. "get in front zoe, move it zoe, im running over your ankles zoe!!!!" .. and mummy can i have this and that and everything else that is possibly anywhere .. and jayden constantly crying at anything .. philip got him out his buggy he cried .. i put the dinner on he cried .. then when he calmed himself he got his finger caught on the door (nothing serious just alittle squished) ... GRRRrrrr ... then to top is off philip was having a quick cat nap, while the kids played and i popped the meat on but zoe got bored of playing with her brother and threw him on philip (landing directing on his most hurtful area) causing zoe to be sent to her room, philip in our room, jaydens now got a milky (only thing that calms him when hes got to certain point) and me finally getting abit of peace ..............

    how is everything x
    :)Still searching .....:)

We used to have a couple of health visitors and then they merged with the other Drs in the same building so they trebelled the number of patients but didn't increase the number of HVs... Then the full time one left so that left us with just 1 part time HV... If I go to the weighing clinic it's just a couple of nursery nurses from sure start that don't really have a clue... Caitlyn had a spot on her cheek for weeks so I took her to clinic and asked one of the girls... She had no idea and just told me to put some sudocreme on it... Like I hadn't already...

I might ask D's opinion on it and then maybe book her in to the Drs... I don't like to ask him though because he goes all paranoid lol...

or could you ask an optician to have a look at them Krystal.....?

beenie - could you ask for the receipt for the doors under the illusion of "being able to claim money back"? Might help figure out how he came up with that figure, although if he was there for ages... but then it does sound like he was offering to do it for cost of the doors.... i think i understand what you mean re the closing, as in the stay closed when put to?as opposed to being shut as in with the catch? i'll have a read in our DIY book if you like....

decided to bite the bullet and make a proper dinner for myself after God wrecked havoc for ordering a take away last night.... vengence was harsh and costly......so summer veggie omelette tonight :)

Hi China, I think this may be the instruction manual for the machine

    http://www.lloydspharmacy.com/Manuals/Labour+TENS+-+IB.pdf

B is burst, C is continuous. From skimming the manual it looks like it's fine to use "for a number of hours" at a time, but I don't know anything about it and don't rely on my advice please.
  • Hi China, I had that machine and had it on for nearly 24 hours so I don't think it matters how long you keep it on for. Is there a midwife with your sister yet? If so they know a bit about TENS machines (or at least the ones I came across did) so should be able to help attach it. Good luck!

*marches in with a bit of eye knowledge* it sounds like it might just be a lazy eye, which is incredibly common, we all have one eye more dominant than the other. She'll need a eye test but obviously you cant take her to the normal opticians, your doctor will refer you to the hospital for it. Worst case scenario is patching or specs but they usually leave either til about 3 or 4 years old anyway:-)

leave it on for as long as she feels it do any benefit I'd have said....

one might be a pulsing and one should be a constant, at least thats how it was on mine, but it wasnt one from lloyds, it also had a boost button on mine.

You could always google it as well, might bring up some instructions...
    sorry i'm not much help...

Thanks Em... I thought they wouldn't do much at this age... Hubby is blind in 1 eye because his Mum did nothing about his lazy eye as a child so I don't know if I'm just seeing something that isn't there... But if there is something, I don't want to leave it too late...

My friends little girl has a terrible lazy eye... She has glasses for her but doesn't make her wear them... :(

I had a lazy eye Krystal, I remember a lot of eye appointments and glasses, and for a while I had to wear a patch. But in those days they just stuck a plaster over the lazy eye and once my grandmother put it right over my eyebrow and taking the patch off also took off my whole eyebrow
