I have noooo idea what i read and what i need to reply to, my head hurts..
So Cameron's grandma said she'd get her builder OH to fit me some new doors cos i'll need to have replaced them before i move out.
So i said ok just get cheap ones (£22 in B&Q) he said he'll get them from somewhere else for *slightly* more money, as in a few quid more, cos he has an account with them. And of course i'm buying the hinges and handles. No charge for fitting cos surely that's what she offered?
Well somehow he has come up with a figure of £79  and i have NO idea how??? This is for TWO doors and their accessories. But i didn't challenge it cos he was here for hours and it was a favour..
And tbh he's done a really !!!!!! job. The one on the front room doesn't stay shut!!! There's a gap round the outside letting all the draft in....
Obviously i can't say anything just wanted to vent..... Oh and he did my bedroom door ages ago and it won't close "to" it swings open unless you close it properly... I said can you make the front door so it doesn't swing open and so if i push it shut "to" then it'll stay there.
He said that's ridiculous you either want it open or shut, and that apparently a door that doesn't swing open isn't hung right.....
!!!!!!? Does anyone even understand my point?? Am i being stupid? Cos every single door in this house will shut without being properly shut, and won't swing open. All except the ones he's fitted!!!0 -

PS. 3 from the FB group it appears that the uk camps are far more close to the USA ones than they let on to you in emails!

Oh, how common of you.
When L was little everytime we passed the laundrette she always used to say she wanted to go there for a treat! She used to be such a cheap child. :rotfl:
I've just had a typical conversation with her:
L: Mum take my photo and put it on facebook.
Me: Why?
L: Because i'm pretty.
(I actually think it was a little bit of jealousy because I had just been looking at BM's latest photo and commented out loud how pretty K is).
SS & Bruno thank you for you excellent comments. I'll be all big and brave again when OH gets home and gives me a cuddle. It's all I need.:beer:0 -
I see this has been ignored

You'd not think she was right now 3 with her temper tantrums going on in the hall, I told her off because she spilled juice all over the carpet, and she was balancing the cup on her head so really - it WAS her fault.
She's just mummphing and hummphing up and down the hall, flailing against the walls and making a ruckus because I was "angry at her" Well no wonder, it's common sense you don't balance a cup of squash on ya nogging0 -
BM, wait until she's 6 and doing that... I get some lovely filthy looks now too...
I'm beginning to wonder if one of Caitlyn's eyes turns in a little... Not much, but enough to make me paranoid... I don't even know who to ask about it since we don't have a health visitor...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

How come you don't have a health visitor Krystal? I don't even know who mine is as they change all the time. I think Keira just has to go again before school for some needles and thats her done with them I think! (woohoo!) Not that they did much anyhoo, except tell me she was overweight and had a speech impediment.
Well she is already slamming doors and stomping around, she's highly sensitive though, raising your voice reduces her to tears and whinging. I have her doing my dishes right now :rotfl: She is doing all the plastic cups/plates/bowls. Ahhh bliss0 -
I remember one of Keira's eyes kept leaking a lot, like she had permenant tears, I just took her to the doctor though as I took umbridge with the HV's
they told me just one of her tear ducts hadn't developed yet and it's fine now, though I notice that eye does glisten more and is more likely to get watery in wind. But hey ho, least she isn't blind like moi
Just take Caitlyn to the doctors Krystal?
