Darn, wm beat me to being first back!

just on to say thanks all for the sharing of my DH woes....

ended up having an ok day.
went to a larger mothercare and they had the sangenic plus nappy wrapper bin on special offer with 6 cassettes for 18.66.... given that a three pack of the cassettes costs £13!
So we bought one of those and I'll freecycle the other bin we have soon as the cassette in that one runs out. We only paid £2 for that one so quite happy.
They also had some plate/bowl sets reduced. DH has an obsession with the fire service so L has lots of fire engine books etc, so we got him the big red fire engine set, and another set of cutlery. Both of which were half price. I presume they are being discontinued.

Spent my afternoon painting some letters to decorate L's room, if I can when they are finished and up I'll take a photo and post it. DH looked after L a lot more, and even this morning did the 5am wake up, and got up with L at 7am and had him downstairs so i slept/dozed in bed till half 9......

Off to see a house we like this afternoon, so hope it works out!

where do you all put your baby to nap during the day?

E usually just naps in his bouncer or his swing, but he is nearly too big for them, so it got me thinking where is he gonna nap?

My mam says when he stays at hers if he hasnt fallen asleep by himeself somewhere when she knows he needs a nap she puts him in his cot

Which is what I have just done now, but I am worried he will then start getting confused between night and day?

I had his curtains and blinds open so its light in there?

Benjamin naps in his cot when we are at home. He naps in a travel cot in the spare room at the CM's (now known as 'Benjamin's room' LOL)

It has never been a problem putting him down in the day and him knowing it is naptime.

I assume E has lots of different clues to let him know it is nighttime kindof (bath, bottle, sleepsuit, story or whatever) so they just get the idea that it is for a short sleep.

Koag - Isla naps in the cot or on our bed in the day. I keep the room light and don't put a blanket or any of her 'nighttime' things with her so she realises it's just a daytime nap.

MFD - are you getting the Joolz?

Kindof - I put Freddie in his cot, he doesn't seem to get confused - me, on the other hand, I'm always confused....
