I know expressing is a private thing but it is only really the same as drinking out of the same cup as someone else! As long as you clean it I can't see the problem.
I had a cup split on my medela - I wonder if that has more to do with it?
I actually emailed her saying that I had a steriliser so there were no hygiene problems but she then admitted she didn't have it! It wasn't a problem as I knew mine would fit BUT the unmentioned lack of tubing is a big problem :mad::mad:Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Gill, why the usa? is expressyourselfmums uk based? I think they sell spares if that helps edit - http://www.expressyourselfmums.co.uk/products.asp/subcatID/32/Spare-Parts-Accessories-for-breastpump.htm
I should really pack my pump back up, its been sat in the steriliser box for months
I just did a search on ebay and that was cheapest - I'll check that one out now
ETA it's £5.10 inc delivery so a bit cheaper and will come much quicker. I feel she should give me a partial refund to cover this as she specifically stated ALL accessories except funnel.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Caz - how did the powertwin work out? have you still got it? I really liked the look of it but I prob won't be able to wangle any new prams next time - boo hiss

The powertwin is fantastic, it is very light to push and even Les will push it as he likes it! I cannot have the hood on the front as Charlie sees it as a game to remove it and hit people with it but its a small price to pay! the brake on the handle is great for going downhill as we have a huge hill on the school run and it helps to slow it down and saves your arms.
Im peeed off with Kiddicare, my Stokke was to arrive today and now they are saying it will be the 16th before it is dispatched:mad::mad::mad: they are also having problems finding my order as the order number includes the Stokke but as the accessories have been delivered under that number they cannot work it out?

Kindof, the move from naps in the rom with you to naps in the big cot is a hard one, but once you get used to it, it's fine. They seem to handle it great and it then means you get some time to yourself.0

yes deffo ask for a refund, you should gt it too as she basically lied in the listing (can't think of the proper fancy words for that right now
)
LOL I've just had an apologetic email saying it must have fallen out of the box and was an oversight on her part. She's going to put it straight in the post :jMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Just had some good news :j
I've been really impatient after the valuer came to value the house on Monday (being shared ownership we have to sell at the official value, no higher or lower), and I rang the housing association as I couldn't wait any longer to find out what they had said. The nice lady there agreed to read out the value on the phone, and they've valued our house back at the same amount it was when we bought it nearly 5 years ago - this is a result as when we wanted to sell last year, it had apparently dropped by £12,000 and we couldn't afford to sell.
Looks like our house is going to be officially on the market!!!:j
