Is the tesco £12 school wear deal any good? (Jacket, trousers and 3 shirts/polo shirts). I'm just getting some for the boys.

Someone i know on fb (some of you might guess who im talking about :p) said that she was weaned at 6 weeks, and 'she's fine'. Also she was talking (sentences) at 6 months.NMS :)

My nan's three were all out of nappies by 9 months (apparently!) ;) She fails to mention she probably cba washing the terry nappies and it was easier to clean up pee & poop from the floor! :rotfl:

Bummer! I bought some last night before the reduced price. :(

What size are you on now MFD? We're still size 4. I got some 4+ a while back and they're huge on her.

I think the supermarket uniform stuff is all ok. We've had no problems with them, except I can't find boys trousers with proper buttons instead of those stupid metal clippy things. I got BHS ones last year and the metal clips fell off before October half term.

I've been this morning and ordered J's sweatshirts. The man at the shop said for an extra £1 he'll embroider his name discretely on the hem. What a fab idea - save them getting mixed up at PE/Swimming and us ending up with the old scabby ones.

I'm going to take L's school cardis/jumpers (which you can only buy from school ) up to him too as she's forever losing stuff.

We've found a playscheme for L this week. Its free :money:, and on every day 10-12 and 1-3, you can go as and when you want up until 20th August. We went and registered her today, and loads of girls from her school were there so i'm guessing i'll be spending the next two weeks ferrying her around.

Asda trousers are terrible this year. DS1 ripped them within a week. DS2 has Mothercare ones because they don't have buttons, half elastic and adjustable waists.

Polo shirts are ok I guess. Still too good a deal to pass up.

Right, off to clean for Ambers birthday tomorrow.

  • I can't believe all your babies are turning 1 - it makes me feel old :o

3 we have been in size 5's for a while now but I don't think he is in any danger of growing out of them any time soon. If anything he seems to be losing his little belly :(

I am also currently having to buy 18-24 month clothes because all his 12-18 month stuff is getting a little tight on him. Although he has been in 18-24 sleepsuits for a while now. Do these kids ever stop growing?

I think I am going to have to put him in proper pj's soon too :( his 18-24 sleepsuits are starting to pull at the neck :o

    Afternoon everyone,

i need to get to asda to get some of these bargain nappies!!! i was in the home bargains next door to asda this morning as well!

jasmine is officially a nightmare, it is impossible to relax while she's running riot, she chews food and spits it out on the floor, stamps on it, rips wallpaper, hits jake on head with random hard objects.... the list goes on lol!! she's napping now though:D this is the first day of the school hols we've not really done much though,

i picked the kids picture disc up this morning too, i love em,

oh and play.com have annoyed me, i ordered 2 posters for jas, a waybuloo and peppa pig, instead of waybuloo i got some monster computer game poster and ive got to go to the post office to send it back, even though ive unwrapped it and they wont be able to resell anyway!! bahh i might fold it up really small and stick in an envelope just to annoy em lol!!!

Some 12-18's are getting a little tight but we will be 18 months old later this week.

But she's wearing a 18-24 top today and i've had to roll the sleeves up quite a few times. And the 18-24 cropped trousers she's wearing aren't quite cropped enough, so they just look like long trousers that are a little too short. :o

My asda has no bargain nappies cos its a big store that normally sells big boxes anyway :(

12-18 trousers are fine on S, but t shirts are starting to be a struggle going over his head, so phasing out the small 12-18 ones is starting and the unpacking of 18-24 ones is occurring :( have given up on Primark t shirts for him as he outgrows them so quickly, sticking to asda ones from now on!
