The camp organiser is clearly a bastage worthy of bastage camp. Did you hear anything more from the volunteers?
Actually I was wondering if it would be worth sending a fictitious email asking about my (hypothetical) teenager and whether the camp would be suitable.
It'd be interesting to hear what they say - if they bl00dy bother to reply at all! No doubt they would if they thought there was £1200 in it for them.
Two of the volunteers have been in touch with my Mum and L by text, when they got back last night.
One said she'll email me over the weekend.:beer:0 -
Evening all
Landen had his hip ultra sound today, pleased to announce he's "normal" LOL well thats what they told us anyway, all in working order and that is hopefully the last time i ever have to re-visit that hospital...
I actually felt sick and was very panicky walking through the door, and had a bit of a flashback to the morning of my induction but we then turned down somewhere i hadn't been and instantly felt my body relax....so phew!
Escaped upstairs with lappy leaving hubby with Landen, have been getting seriously stressed with DH.... every so often I feel like he's not doing enough/doing things my way.... and i know im being irrational but it just erks me sometimes......
DH has said he finds Landen really boring (which is fair enough he doesnt do much) and he's waiting for when they can play together but as I pointed out, I dont wanna be the only one doing all the mundane stuff like feeding/dressing/bathing/changing while he gets to have all the fun times, but at the same time I do understand where DH is at......
I've told DH how I feel etc and he says he'll do things my way and sometimes he does but at other times he just ignores me, the night wake ups are the worst! To the point that DH thinks that Landen should go in his cot in his own room now, and on his nights when he is working the next day I should sleep on the blow up bed in Landen's room so he can get a decent nights sleep..... part of me sees the point and the logic behind it and then another part of me thinks *two fingers*......
sorry whinge fest over xxWealth is not measured by currency0 -
CAFC Girl we had the sofa in fairly constant use for night wakeups - but we took it in turns, so when Husband didn't need to be somewhere the next day he let me have a long sleep and just brought me Molly for feeds. In turn, when he had an important work day (not *every* work day) I'd let him have the full night so he was properly rested. There's a lot of taking the weight off each other involved in a tiny baby - people need to work it so that nobody ever ends up running on fumes while the other person is bouncing about feeling wonderful and not helping.
3, my 14 year old son with a great interest in horses and moderate autism would like to go to Bastage Camp. Let's see if he's allowed.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

SS, It might be a good idea if you don't call them Bastage Camp in the email!:beer:0

i agree with you there SS but DH seems to think every work night, he shouldnt be disturbed at all.....and moans at me that Landen wont sleep for 5 hours, feed and then another 5 hours....
I've said to him Landen will wake up when he needs to, at this age there is always a reason, and he says we need to work on getting him to sleep for longer, but if a baby doesnt want to sleep, you cant make them surely?!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

....... Oops:cool:
CAFC, it doesn't matter what he thinks. If he wants something that wakes him every five hours and stops the noise as soon as acknowledged he should have impregnated you with a Tamagotchi.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

CAFC - why not sugest he takes the blow up bed downstairs to sleep on it, if he says no then ask him why not, if it is perfectly acceptable to expect you to sleep on it
all said in a nice calm non confrontational voice, mwahhahahaha watch him squirm

I hope it fits ok and I can feed ok in it as planning on wearing it to the wedding in September. Now just need some shoes to go with it!
Oh, yeah, Sugar, massage sounds fab. I could do a with a tough one myself after bending over cakes all week! Lovely shoes too
